So the big assumption behind the quests for immortality is that the brain stops deteriorating along with the body. Maybe. But nobody seems to gain immortality when they are young or middle-aged. Flamel is a stereotype of a dithering old guy. Voldemort's mind was gone long before anyone tested his immortality (Lily). It just seems stupid. So here are a couple teenagers, a basilisk, and a scientist manipulating the old guy (right on!) and I just think it would be sad to face an eternity of that kind of relationship.
But moving on...hooray! Even griffindors come in handy! Or, as the griffindors are probably thinking, even Slytherins come in handy. Dash has some complex relationships going on with Harrys people, considering they can't really converse with him. Fuller relationships now that they have been tested under fire. I love that Snapes shield worked.
What to do with Dumbledore's body? There will have to be a state funeral, I suppose.
Yaaaaay finally caught up with this!! This was such an interesting twist and I'm really wondering how you'll have Voldemort come back to a body now - and if you even will! I am continuing to love this story to bits!!!
