Yet another 'Harry too close to the surface' screw up...there's been too many of those in this chapter alone, Harry better be *extra* careful. I love how Draco and Harry's thoughts parallel each other. First their agreement about that the sex was great (only 'pleasant' Draco? - someone's still a bit peeved their partner isn't quite so smitten) but too dangerous to repeat. And then there's their assessment on their situation - it's really kind of funny how they agree without knowing each other's thoughts. I love the Malfoy Menagerie and the so very slytherin reasoning behind its creation. I'm thrilled to see Draco starting to get suspicious - Brian is too noticable a person to be able to come out from nowhere. Wonder what Draco made out of Harry's outburst? Just another Gryffindorish tendency or...?
Will we get to see Pansy and Blaise interacting with Draco? It be an interesting parallel to Harry's own relationship with Ron and Hermione. I do hope Harry's the only one who thought that one reason he was not told of the news immediately was that they're not as close to each other anymore. Hermione *could* just be that fussy. I almost wish for them to start getting suspicious too, if only to clear the air between them. Hell, Ron could be persuaded to accept Harry's homosexuality after 17 shots of Firewhiskey, why not this too?
Anyway. Love the update. It's funny how three days seems such a long time considering I'm used to waiting for fic updates in span of years. You're spoiling us, I swear (not that I'm complaining)
Well, to be fair, I think the only big one in this chapter is Harry letting his temper get the better of them. After that, he vanishes into Brian.
Ha-ha, Draco is kind of upset that Brian is not swooning over his awesome body.
Harry and Draco are similar enough personalities in this story that they would think along the same lines, I believe. If nothing else, both of them notice things in the same way and put together their thoughts in the same fashion.
Harry's biggest disadvantage at the moment is that he doesn't yet comprehend why Draco would want to look beneath Brian's surface. He's underestimated Draco's need to have control, through knowledge if nothing else.
Draco does think that Brian has more of a temper than he thought.
Pansy will probably show up. Blaise, I don't know (since in this story he doesn't live in England).
Harry probably is exaggerating the lack of closeness to his friends. He feels one way about it, Ron and Hermione another. He still wouldn't want to tell them about Metamorphosis, though, for the reason given in Chapter 4: he thinks Hermione would try to lecture him out of it.
