I think that you fill your most important role neatly, said Draco, and draped his tail more heavily along the back of Harry’s neck when Harry grunted a question. Companion to a basilisk. Um, I think the tag should be Dash here?
Anyway, it's amusing to see that even Dash is incapable of jollying Harry out of one of his more entrenched moods every once in awhile. *grins*
Blaise just became fascinating. I really enjoy it when writers bring those secondary characters to life.
It looks as if Sirius just made up for quite a bit of stupid with the house and Harry's room. Hopefully, they can keep moving forward without too many stumbling blocks.
It looks as if Snape is going to have to reassess his approach if he plans on gaining Harry's trust.
This was hilarious! I mean, you really should correct Draco to Dash in this sentence: I think that you fill your most important role neatly, said Draco, and draped his tail more heavily along the back of Harry’s neck when Harry grunted a question. See, I imagined that scenario with the REAL Draco, if you know what I mean, and I laughed so hard I almost rolled to the floor :D
Vince and Greg would only notice the problem if it involved food, and then they would just eat it. He liked to think he had a healthy respect for girls, having grown up with his mum the way she was, but that respect included a healthy amount of terror, too. This humor... - finally! I think Blaise is my best character from now on. He's fantastic! He had established that Draco was mental. Absolutely agreed, but it'd be very interesting if it'd turn out in one of the following chapters that he can actually learn how to speak parseltounge.
Incredible chapter as always. I look forward to the next one ;)

Thank you! I hope that Blaise will have a much greater role to play in the rest of the story, too.
Snape doesn't necessarily know about the house yet, but yes, he has some catching-up to do.

Thank you! Some humor is necessary from the secondary characters since the main ones seem to be variously petulant, crazy, or serious.

That went over even better than Sirius thought it would.

Harry would deny that he ever considered trusting Severus, but of course, it's easier for the readers to see. :)
