At least Draco and Pansy didn't have to use their blackmail! Draco's letter hinted that he would, but Harry is going to meet him without that.

And yes, Harry is very afraid. His greatest fear at the moment is that Voldemort's Horcrux left some sort of lingering taint. He had trusted that he got rid of it completely, but he also thought he would test red.

Hmmm, the more I read about the Lightfinder and the results it is getting from Harry and all the others, the more I think it doesn't so much pick up on "dark magic" but on trauma - a "hurt soul", if you will. After the war, the darker colors would have to be expected, then.

Looking forward to future chapters, to see if I got that (partly?) right. :)

Very interesting! Harry looks very worried; he should realize he's still a good person and even Molly cast an Unforgivable during the war.

I love how much Draco cares about his friends.

Thanks!

The problem is that people like Molly aren't receiving the same level of scrutiny, and don't have the same legacy of public uncertainty that Harry does.

Yes, he does care quite a bit about them, and that's going to be the common ground he and Harry have at first.
