If Draco had approached him at a different time or with less violence, Harry might not even have been all that angry. He's ready to agree that lots of things he does are disgusting, after all.
Daphne doesn't spend all her time gossiping; she just happens to think that it's the best way to hurt Draco. Petty revenge has become a greater obsession for her because this is one of the first times that she's failed in getting it.
Draco needed this slap down, I think, to remind him that he can't win all the time. And he is more committed to doing things Harry's way now.
I am truly loving this story. It's somehow so delicate and based on emotions. I am ashamed to say I feel a lot like Harry at times for various reasons - I look forward to seeing how he overcomes this with Draco. Such a beautiful story and your writing is so stunning as always.
a great chapter! I'm glad that Draco has made a mistake. He was a little scary to me already. So patiently, so perfect ... yes, I'm very relieved. This makes the story even better! I think that it has helped, even though it was painful.
The new facial scars - I'm sorry. Poor Harry. But luckily they are small.
Nice that you mentioned sexual diseases and contraception. It is too rarely mentioned. If I were Draco, I would swallow. That's a hard thing. Poor Harry. How many times has he knelt before the Muggles? He never got back something. I feel bad when I think about it.
Daphne is a stupid cow. Will Harry ever remove the spell? I hope ... Although Daphne is a stupid cow, I think it's bad that she has been so punished. I guess Harry is bisexual. Draco is gay? Or is he bisexual? Perhaps Daphne is so beastly, because Draco was the lover of her little sister before?
Anyway, that was a wonderful chapter. I look forward to more!
And this time I'm even on time with my review * proud *
Draco really isn't perfect; he may be what Harry needs, but his thoughts don't always match his actions.
Draco does wince away from the thought of Harry giving in to Muggles. On the other hand, he doesn't want that to happen again, and the best way to make sure it doesn't is stay close, until and unless he's sure that Harry doesn't want him anymore.
Draco wasn't with Astoria for long at all, if ever. Daphne's grudge is because Draco got in with Harry and got the "story" about his past lovers before she did.
And Harry would only remove the spell if he could trust that Daphne wouldn't gossip about them again.

I understand why Harry was angry with Draco, but I'm glad they made peace at the end.
