Looks like I was a little off with my guesses last time. I don't know why I never thought of a combination of my first two options. :D
The way the story goes now, it has the potential to become so much worse than I first thought.
I wonder if Lucius got out knowing the truth or if somebody made some false promises. Can't imagine him agreeing to let somebody destroy his soul. Especially if the "big plan" is so likely to fail...

That's part of the reason there was an angst warning. But there are still things going on that Harry and Draco aren't aware of, and that may change the situation.

Lucius was nervous, so probably he was kidnapped against his will.

Thank you! I think this one, although he does his duty and solves the difficult cases for the Ministry, would not be very inclined to put up with any nonsense.

Considering what he went through during the war, a seriously unhinged version of Harry would even be realistic.
Though I think he still has too many scruples to make a "good" Dark Lord - and far too narrow goals.
A Dark Lord with Harry's current (in this story, I mean) qualities would amuse me to no end. The wizarding world would so deserve it. :D

Harry does do things like take note of the Apparition locations Draco used so he can come back and arrest people later. But right now Draco's hired him, so he's going to maintain his loyalty to him for the terms of the agreement.
