Just wanted to say that this is yet another series I adore, right along with IGYAWM. Both rock my socks. I haven't commented much due to too much work and too little time but I slavishly await each update and love each one more than the last. Keep up the fantastic work!

The story is 14 chapters. It may shrink to 13 if the action in Chapter 12 goes especially quickly.

It's 3 o'clock in the morning but the wait was worth it!!!
Harry finally knows he's not alone even if he is being an ungrateful twatty martyr and a drama queen! Draco's been trying to help you and put his own soul in danger!

This scene was why I put in all those hints about how independent- or, rather, dependent on only his own effort- Harry has become. Draco's determination to help him panics him instead of making him hopeful, because he still doesn't trust Draco.

Oh Harry! I know you have no reason to, but you CAN trust Draco ...

I just hope Draco can understand Harry's reasons for running (I'm sure he'll work it out) ...

I love that Draco got through - how interesting that Draco broke off a piece of his soul for Harry - a more intimate bond I cannot imagine. What twists will that bring, I wonder!

If you can't guess, I loved this update! Let the chase begin! Possibly after some Slytherin planning for Harry's return ... can't have him traipsing the country without Ron and Hermione not worried about Harry's escape *nods*

Harry is, unfortunately, just sure at this point that any attempt by Draco to get Harry to trust him would be preparation for a betrayal.

Draco will probably understand Harry better.

I can say that Chapter 12 of this fic, and the sequel, will go rather differently than everyone has guessed so far.
