I've truly been enjoying the Harry in Universal Chaos but I have to say that this Harry has quickly become a close second. There's something about his willingness to be open-minded and pay attention to all details even when they contradict earlier perceptions or beliefs.
I also liked the part when Draco realized that Harry knew more about his world than he knew about Harry's. Strangely enough, it almost seems like Harry is a man without a 'world' of his own. Instead of melting into a group he takes from those around him and keeps what pleases him while studying and learning from what displeases him or offends his sensibilities. I would think it would be a strong test of character to live like that but it would make it easier to like oneself.
Thank you! I don't think Harry really realizes that he's this open-minded; he considers himself prejudiced against pure-bloods.
Harry has considered for a long time that he really belongs to the world of Gryffindor colors and beer and fights with his friends, but dating Draco is getting him to consider otherwise.
This was very enjoyable. Just what's needed after a long day at work. I think this Harry may just be my favorite Harry of yours (maybe because I was so fond of your Metamorphsis Harry, and they are very similar).
Just watching the two of them bounce of each other is very satisfying.
I can't wait to see how this pans out, especially with the political aspect.
Oh this is soooo lovely!!! It's really cute that when Harry's wanking to images of Draco, it's all the little things that he's noticed subconsciously. I really love that!
Astoria is really made of Win! in this chapter too with her knack of cutting through the bullshit. “These rules we live by should never be the excuse for pain. We do much too good a job of inflicting that on ourselves.” What a fantastic line!!!!

I wasn't thinking of that consciously, but it's almost certainly the original inspiration.

There's some movement on the political front in the next chapter.

Harry's decision may not be as final one way or the other as Draco or Kingsley would like. He does live between two worlds, after all.
