i love 1 3 and 5. do you have to do cross processing yourself or is it possible to ask a photo developing company to do it for you? :\ (i know nothing about film/cameras really)
i just went in to my local photo place and got them to develop it. I just asked them to cross-process the slide film as regular prints. They just asked "You sure?" and then shrugged and did it.
almost all of the pictures i see in this community have such vibrant and saturated colors and i wonder...is this because they are... a)photoshopped b)cross processed c)or the cameras are really just that amazing??
I believe saturated colors (when shooting film) is due to the film you used and how it was developed. You don't need to cross-process film in order to get saturated colors and the cameras don't really do anything for color saturation...
To the poster: I enjoyed the last three shots, especially the one at the beach and the night exposure.
well, these aren't photoshopped... The vibrant colors are from your film choice, but I do believe that the optics in an LC-A really somehow help to capture great color more than your other point-and-shoot cameras.
these ones here are cross-processed, so the colors are just crazy saturated and wacky. :)
just a and b. lca is not that awesome of a camera. and i'm the mod saying this. heh.
you can do awesome cross processing with any camera. you can overexpose 1 stop to get awesome colors. you can also digitally color correct. a LOT of people do this here. not a bad thing but don't think that everyone here is ansel adams.
