Went to see Pride and Prejudice last night with my mum (it was her way of making up for me having a really crappy week). I was pleasantly surprised actually. I haven't read the book so I can't really say whether it was a true-to-life adaptation but it was entertaining anyway. Darcy and Jane were a tad weak but the others were good enough. The scenery, costumes and music were all beautiful although some of the camerawork and music in certain scenes was a tad overwhelming. But overall it was perfectly charming and worth the £6 ticket.
As for my fortnight, it's been rather uneventful. Went to see As You Like It in London last week, all I have to say about that is that Sienna Miller has freakishly huge feet. Been feeling kinda run-down all week but I think that's going to be the case for a few weeks while I get back into the swing of things. It's so odd only having 4 lessons on my timetable and having every lesson everyday + a free period. The workload has been really surprising - I've never had so much research to do!
