Today was ridiculous. Life has been very ridiculous lately. Im finishing my Masters in 2 WEEKS!! Very exciting..and a lot has been going on. Actually I got my thesis done a while ago, and it wasn't so bad. Have a few more presentations left to do, but im not too worried about those. Im finishing my time has President for Psi Chi...good lord I'm looking forward to passing that to someone else. Today was our conference and it was hell. To start, things were hectic getting all the supplies and food. Although we were there by 7:30am..all the rooms were locked and ofcourse no one could find a manager. After an hour of finding help...we are missing certificates..more drama. As presentations are under way I get called into a private room because someone had a maniac episode as a reaction to the presenter. She needed seriously therapy but unfortunately spoke only spanish. Me and a fellow Spanish speaking presenter spent 45 mins calming her down and then referred her to therapy. After that we have our keynote speech..things are relatively okay..and out of no where the damn fire alarm goes off!! Could it get any worse!? Evacuating an entire conference was not fun.
anyway.. that was just the jist of the day.
What else? Well the million to one chance of having someone need my bone marrow has come up. Im donating my marrow on June 11 through PBSC collection. Im scared, Im nervous, anxious and happy. I'll post more about that later...
for now i'll get back to work and chicken fingers =)
