Last night Anuj and I were watching the news...its ridiculous the amount of shootings that happen here in the bay area. The crime rate has sky rocketed. I went to work early this morning and got a phone call from one of my good friend/sorority sisters father. It was her..she got shot yesterday in San Francisco. Suddenly it wasnt just a statistic anymore. This is no party girl, not gang violence, no drugs involved. She had gotten off work, taken the bus home, blocks away from her home..where there was a attempted robbery. We havent been able to get details since she cant talk yet. She got shot in the back but is listed under stable condition.
Just hoping and praying that she makes a full recovery.
