3x10 picspam
omg, this is my first picspam ever. I've wanted to make a picspam for weeks now, but I've been to lazy. Since 3x10 was the last episode was the series I finally decided to follow through and make one. You can definitely tell what I've been listening to from the songs I picked. And I just realized the layout I'm using make the pictures a lot smaller than the actually are so...
Effy
if you dig a little deeper, you will find me.
Undiscovered - James Morrison
I have gone back and forth with Effy this series. I've gone from loving her to hating her to loving her again in the span of a couple weeks. I did like her this episode though. I loved her flipping off Cook's Dad, that reminded me of the old Effy. Not that I want her to return to the Effy she was when she was 15, but it was nice to see she hadn't completely changed.
Freddie
i’m in love with a girl who’s in love with the world.
Keep it Loose, Keep it Tight - Amos Lee
I didn't really notice that Freddie makes pretty much the same face all the time until I started looking for caps to use in this picspam. I just thought I would put that out there quickly. I didn't hate Freddie this episode for the most part, which is shocking. I still think he's a funsponge that can't dress but whatever.
JJ
why can't we just rewind?
Rewind - Paolo Nutini
JJ was such a BAMF this episode. I loved every scene he was in, pretty much everything he said. He's a fabulous. I loved him calling Effy out, I loved him winning the race, everything. He's grown so much this series. While in his episode he was learning how to become more assertive and standup himself, it wasn't until this episode were everyone else started to take he more seriously. I love him.
Cookie i am tired of being alone, so hurry up and get here.
Love Song For No One - John Mayer
ohmyheart. First let me start off with saying Jack O'Connell, is so amazing, so so amazing. If you ask me he is definitely the best actor this series, and one of the best actors ever on this show. Okay, on to Cook, heartbreaking, completely heartbreaking. I know people might disagree, but I think Cook telling Freddie that he could just let him and Effy be together showed a lot of growth. Old Cook probably would have told Freddie whatever and pretended like it didn't bother him, in that scene he was honest not only with Freddie but with himself.
Cook & Effy
i just want you closer. is that alright?
Last Request - Paolo Nutini
The first ten minutes of the episode was extremely cute. I want to like Cook and Effy and the only reason I can't ship them together is because it is obvious that Effy thinks of Cook as second best and that sucks. I think Cook deseves someone that doesn't think of him as second best. I hope he gets that next series. But they were really sweet in this episode, nonetheless. I think that Cook and Effy are very similar but the way the writers decided to show them was very different. Effy is loved by pretty much everyone while Cook is loved by nobody. They are interesting.
Freddie & Effy
there's a heart on the line, and it rests with your eyes.
White Lines - Paolo Nutini
I don't find them as interesting as I find Cook and Effy, maybe it is the fact that I don't really like Freddie. :/ I was expecting them to get together so it wasn't surprising when they did. The only thing that bothered me was the editing of their sex scene, it seemed very tasteless. You have Cook running off heartbroken with a bottle of alcohol planning to "drink himself to death" while Freddie and Effy get it on, I think it would have been better if they looked for him honestly. They are his friends.
Cook & JJ
picking up the pieces of the wreck you went and left.
Rewind - Paolo Nutini
Writers, there was nowhere near enough Cook and JJ in this episode and I was disappointed, but the scene we did get was nice. Thank you JJ for following Cook, and telling him he's not a piece of shit like he thinks he is.
Cook & Freddie
all my friends are dear to me, oh, when the storm comes they’re as close as family
All My Friends - Amos Lee
I don't have much to say other than I like their friendship. I think the final scene showed that even though they might be back at square one they have changed (JJ included). Old Cook would never have waited until Freddie offered him a seat, he would have just took it, and Freddie seemed more understanding.
The Cast
They are all amazing, and I love each and everyone of them and I think they all added something to this series. I can't wait to see them again in series 4.
