as much as i really, really, really want to agree with you, there are people here who are into bands like patd and mcr who still dislike sqs - my fellow mod being one of those people.

jusssst because someone is into mcr slash and uh things of that nature doesn't mean they are shit people. i mean, personally, i think there are WAY BETTER FANDOMS TO SLASH, but to each her (or his) own.

I do regret ever coming up with a username like mine, just because people tend to judge me and throw me in a box with the masses of 13-yr-olds that believe Brendon (or whoever) belongs to Ryan omgzz!!1 (I mean, I do joke about it, but who doesn't) or to, well, them.

It's good to know you're of that opinion because I was a little bit scared when I joined lolsq some time ago haha.

it's a shame that ... IC, well-written, believable, worth-my-time slash is SO FUCKING RARE. like, i forgot about it completely for so long because i just gave up on it and let the teenyboppers have it.

Y ): It has gotten so bad over the past years, I don't even check any slashcomms anymore. If I feel like reading something, I read through the writing journals of authors that I know are good.
Seems to me the internet makes people believe everyone can be a writer, and that's just wrong.

I'd get a new lj if I didn't feel so attached~ to my current one. And nobody will be able to convince me to buy a rename token, there's no way I'm giving my money to livejournal.
... but lately the dislike for my username has been outweighing the love for my lj, so I might just get a new one sometime soon, idk.
