I wouldn't say that.

There's really no limit to what training can do.
Monks in the Nepalese mountains are pretty good proof of that.

Physical training isn't going to do a lot, when you are being physically limited.

I fight with my hands, so it's not like I have some fancy weapon to fall back on.

I'm a boxer, so we're in the same boat.

They can limit our abilities as much as they want, but they can't limit our minds. Not all the time.

You can still work on your willpower.

Your mind isn't going to save you, if someone tries to kill you.

If you're a boxer, then you should understand my frustration.

... Willpower, huh?

Did I ever say I wasn't frustrated? I am, but I'm not going to give up. I'm going to keep on training as hard as I can.

You should too.

They've only won when they've broken us down, and if you're strong in heart and body- they won't be able to.

Did I say I was giving up?

... You don't know anything about strength.

Well, uh-
You said that all the training in the world wouldn't be enough to help you earlier. I guess I misunderstood.

I'd consider myself the second strongest boxer on the district circuit. I haven't met anyone better than me, but I would hope they exist.
I know a thing or two about strength.

Congratulations, you just met someone stronger than you.

Physical and otherwise, you couldn't possibly know strength. What have you ever been through? Anything really terrible?

Don't make me laugh.

Really? That's interesting.

I've been through enough. I think it's a bit presumptuous to say all that, when you don't even know me.

I'm sure you've suffered loss and pain, but so have I.

I suppose so...

You'll have to forgive me, I thought you'd be another one of those... people, making claims they can't back up. I'm sure you're very strong.

You seem a little... young to know a lot about pain.

Of course, being a boxer, I'm sure that you'd be willing to back up your claims, right? Maybe a little... friendly sparring?

I'm sure if you're considered top in your world, it'll be a good match! I've never done... traditional competition though...

I've dealt with my fair share of that type. I can understand where you're coming from. Ego doesn't have a place in the ring, as far as I'm concerned.

I may be young, but I've worked hard to get where I am. None of it came easily to me. There was a lot of blood and sweat involved. Again, I'm sure you can relate.

A sparring match would be great.
You sound strong, I'm sure I won't be disappointed.

Ego doesn't get you anywhere.

I'm sure you did. Training is supposed to be hard - it hardens you to the world, and all the shit in it. I know a thing or two about hardships.

I hope I can... live up to your expectations. I'm not busy, so whenever you'd like.

I'm a bit beat, but I could never pass up the opportunity for a round.

Maybe it'll help me sleep better.
