It wasn't often that Romano got a day off work, and it was an even rarer occasion for him to spend it at home. But, after about 6 or so attempts at enduring society with varying results, our favourite grumpy Italian had gone back to what he did best- Hermiting. Sleeping.
And what better time to sleep than 3pm, when the traditional siesta coincided perfectly with the time at which Kim returned home from school, putting the two at opposite sides of the apartment and out of each others way.
Usually.
However today was different. See, Romano was feeling rather opportunistic, and today seemed perfect for working on a little childish vendetta he harbored against the Vietnamese girl. Rather, the timing was perfect.
He'd already undressed down to the red underwear Feli bought for New Years when the idea finally dawned on him. Romano was /certain/ he didn't take those New Year photos himself and while he couldn't put it past Antonio to do so but...Kim's comments...well, it was just so hard to let an opportunity like this pass by.
And so, fixing his hair with a sly grin, he made his way back into the main apartment room to an unsuspecting Kim.
A heavy sigh to make his presence known, Romano he rubbed at the back of his neck to ease tension that wasn't exactly all for show
"Infine il sonno..."
It was perfectly reasonable, his excuse that is. He was a guy, he was Italian, and it was siesta time.
Romano wasn't exactly oblivious to the advantages his own language had over English, either.
Oh, he was going to get one up on her this time.
