WHO: Eduard and Raivis
WHEN: Sunday 22 November, evening
WHERE: Centralia apartments, Room 403
WHAT: Whist the roommates, temporary and long term, are away, Raivis awaits Judgment hour.
"I'm sorry."
Again.
"I'm sorry."
With more feeling.
"I'm so sorry."
In the quiet of the evening lull, Raivis studied the cracks on his ceiling as he felt the curve of his mouth form each word. Over. Over, over again. The sounds vibrated in his throat harsh and punishing- forcing him to wheeze when the anxiety climbed its way up from the pit of his stomach. Nauseousness which, if he was going to be truly honest with himself, wasn't illness at all but a manifestation of-
Guilt.
He tried to forget what had caused the splintering of bone in his arm. Anything before that-
It could haunt his nightmares but it would not shadow his reality. Things had to be set straight and first and foremost- There was one man who needed to hear the truth.
After hearing at last from Eduard, proceeding to feebly lie to him, Raivis had felt his heart seize painfully in his chest as he realized he was doing exactly what the rest of his family had done.
Kept the Estonian ignorant. Excluded him.
"H-horrible..." Drifted over the soothing, soft sound of Mendelssohn. "I'm horrible..."
Maybe he was unable to do anything at first- during the shock. But he could have tried harder to contact Eduard. He could have... at least called him to the hospital to speak with him in private. Eduard, at least, deserved to know the truth.
"I'm...s-sorry..."
