Halloween at our village's People Cemetery

Oct 31, 2009 00:10

WHO: Anyone that wants to
WHEN: Halloween (31st) @ DUSK!!
WHERE: People Cemetery
WHAT: Find the necklace to get a wish, scare the crap out of people, make out with dead bodies. ANYTHING GOES.
RATING: Who's to say at this point. Read at your own risk?

The sky was a fiery orange that evening on Halloween, and it seemed particularly fitting that such a bright orange would illuminate the sky on this day of all days. The sun made its descent and dusk began. As it sank lower and lower in the sky it's light reflected off the leaves of the trees in their autumn colors of red, yellow, and orange, and if one looked from just the right angle with the sun in just the right spot, here, at People Cemetery (as opposed to Pet Cemetery next door), it appeared as though the trees were aflame.

However, it wouldn't look this way for long, as the sun began to set on this most fateful of nights, when so much had happened all those years ago.

Upon walking up to the cemetery one can hear nary a sound. Not the barking of dogs, the chirping bird's song, or the even a rustle in the grass caused by any sort of crafty creature you'd find living in this man ruled world. A large iron wrought arch marked the beginning of the twisted path that ran through the cemetery becoming a fork here and there and at times doubling back on itself again. And somewhere in the park, as the sun sank lower and lower, a man waited. If you could call him that.

[ooc: yeah its shit but I tried. Have at it y'all.]
