Magically? There will be no magic.... -_-;;; toris_tori October 2 2009, 23:02:00 UTC
Dropping his guitar off at the beginning of the day in one of the practice rooms, had been more of an impromptu decision. Usually he did not bring his guitar to school..or anywhere, actually. Mostly it stayed in his room, to be played in private. Lately, however, since Herc had moved out, Toris had had to shift things around to get ready to move out himself, since he did not have enough money to stay in The CharlestonSo he'd dragged it over this particular day so he could drop it off early at Feliks', not wanting it to get lost in the move, it was his most important possession after all. After class he made it back to the practice room, and dug it out of the hidden corner ( ... )

B-but! The Dragons told me there would be! ;n; not_whales October 3 2009, 02:12:17 UTC
His eyes went southbound in the direction of the backstage. F, G, F, G... a guitar, was what it sounded like. The band classrooms were located on the other half of the building, and the practice rooms were off-limits to the students after five pm, and by the Welshman's calculations - and a quick glance at his Rolex watch - it was exactly 5:04 pm.

He shut off the stage lights when exiting through one of the backstage doors. The heavy black door spilled into an abandoned hallway, abandoned save for a choir director and that absolutely gorgeous string of chords reverberating off of the walls.

When he came to the very last practice room on the right, he saw that the musician's back was facing him. But all Dewi needed to hear was his voice.

He didn't want to interrupt though. For one, it would be extremely rude, and for two, he just... wanted to listen for a bit.

What Dragons? toris_tori October 3 2009, 02:43:32 UTC
It started quiet as he eased himself into the music, but building stronger with time, with the belief that no one was here to listen to him, gave him covidence he usually lacked when playing in front of an audience. But without the pressures of it, he could play with more feeling and less insecurity.

It was a song he understood well. It reminded him of times before the crash, of his home back in Lithuania, it was...a song of home for him.

Don't believe everything happiness says ( ... )

Don't "What Dragons" me! They're real! More Real than Arthur's Fairies! not_whales October 3 2009, 03:16:04 UTC
And Dewi stayed there throughout the entire song. His eyes were closed - closed so he could solely focus his senses on his ears, listening intently to the boy's tone and how open, with a distinct impression of vibrato. Once over, he opened his eyes, adjusted his glasses, and patiently waited with crossed arms for the brown-haired boy to feel his presence. He didn't want to talk and frighten the boy. He had that air about him that looked like he had stage fright.

Finding the Choir director of a prestigious university standing behind you when you thought you were alone, singing, would draw up some interesting and defensive reactions.
