Where: Tailles D'or Condo, Francis's Condo
What: Memories resurface, and a confrontation about that summer in London occurs.
Francis sighed, shaking his head as he returned from once again giving his neighbor her cat back...As was becoming custom, he'd come home, find it on his bed, take it back, get scolded by the lady for catnapping her pet, and then leave back to his own condo. None of this would be happening if she didn't even have the cat, or if she at least kept an eye on it...
He shut his condo door with a soft click, before going and vacuuming the cat hairs off his bed. He pulled out a bottle of wine, part of the collection he had here at home and sat down on his personal balcony. Pouring himself a glass, he settled down and sipped slowly, gazing out over the night lights and enjoying the cool breeze. He had no appointments tonight, and most of his contacts knew that he was not to be disturbed on Friday evenings, thank goodness...
Strangely, he found himself thinking back to that summer, a long time ago.,...Francis shook his head, no, that was over. He'd finished things with Macbeth several months ago (or so he hoped), he shouldn't be dwelling on this...He forced himself to think of other things like...harassing Mon Cher! That was always something fun to do!
Alas, Francis kept coming back again and again to that summer...With a frown, the French observed the wine left in his glass. Maybe he should get seriously drunk tonight, if only to stop thinking about such troublesome things...
