And stopped short when he saw someone sleeping at one of the desks.
He'd known students to fall asleep during class, but usually they were either woken up by the professor or when the other students left. Figuring he might as well wake her now, he crossed to her and shook her shoulder.

The girl lightly pushed his hand away and with her other arm, propped herself up. Her eyelids were still so heavy that she almost laid her head on the table to head back to sleep. Vanessa was only then aware that someone had woken her up. With sleepy eyes she looked at the tall guy who...was there. Standing in front of her.
"Eh...hello?" She didn't really know what to say to him. Well, no one really knows what to say to strangers.
Vanessa tore her gaze from him to look out the window. Just a glance. At the sight of the lack of sun, her eyes widened a bit and she became fully awake. How long had she been asleep?

"You should go before they lock the building," he called over his shoulder.

The longer time passed, the more she got closer to being fully awake. Suddenly, she realized what has got her so jumpy in the first place. Her hands slowly made their way to her lips, the tips of her fingers lightly pressing them. "Are my lips normal? Are they okay?" Her voice was louder this time, and even more concerned than with her previous question.
Reply
"About six."
At her next question, he stopped to turn and look at her with a bemused look.
"They look okay," he replied, watching her carefully. "Are you okay?"
Reply
"Whaaa", she whined, looking back out the window as she kept pushing her lips. She turned back to Willem but her attention went back to them.
"Are you sure? They don't look scale-y?" she asked in sort of response to his question.
Reply
"You seem fine. Are you sure you're okay?"
She may have just had a bad dream, but she might also have a fever. It would explain how she managed to sleep through the bustle at the end of class and the disorientation.

"I think I'm okay. I didn't know I was asleep for so long. Were you here for two hours?"
Reply
"Just got here."
He spied his scarf, and grabbed it from where he he had draped it across the back of his chair. Quickly he wrapped it around his neck, and then turned towards the girl.
"You should probably go home before they close the building."
He stood watching her, making sure she was truly okay.

She didn't get up, though. Her legs were still numb. Instead, she just weakly waved him off while avoiding moving her legs or having them touch anything.
Reply
"Sure you're alright?"
He didn't want to leave her here if something was wrong. This late no one would be here till the janitors came and cleaned in another hour or so.

"I'm all right, really. I just feel stars on my legs" she said, referring to the pins and needles feeling after moving a numb body part. The feeling usually passes in a few minutes. After, she would leave - hopefully, before the janitors arrive and then lock the building. Though she'd probably pass by one of the bathrooms first to make sure her face is not blue green and her skin is not scale.
"Thank you for your concern, mister."
