Who: Donald and Sindre
When: Monday 17 October 2011
Where: The park
What: Yet another person finds out about Sindre's secret.
Sindre smiled slightly to himself as he lay back on the grass. He loved coming out on late fall days. Overcast, too chilly for most, he'd settle himself on the other side of a slight hill and be completely hidden from sight.
And with no one to see, he could play.
Rolling onto his side, he ran a hand over the smooth patch of dirt, long since cleared of any plant life. Once it was clear, he traced around the edges before sketching Isa and Kenaz. The circle would keep the working contained, and the runes...
Sindre's smile grew as a pillar of fire and a pillar of ice sprang up from the ground. It might have been silly, and a waste of power, but it didn't take too much, and sometimes Sindre couldn't help it. Sometimes, he just had to experience.
And so he sat, playing with the ice and flames, building them into forms, sending the fire flickering along an ice dragon or capturing a flame in an ice candle. Just to stretch his mind, feel his abilities, to remember the wonder that came with magic.
