Maybe it was the overcast weather they'd been having lately, but Heracles had been oddly... downcast lately. At least, downcast by his standards. There wasn't really a good reason for it, everything was going pretty well after all. Unless one counted his grades, but it wasn't like those had ever been that good to begin with or like he had particular ambitions for them to be either. His jobs gave enough money to get by and decent chances of meeting interested, if not always particularly interesting individuals for one night stands.
And yet.
There was just this niggling feeling of boredom, of being stuck in place, life rolling by him. Which also didn't usually bother him, and he wasn't sure why it did now... maybe it was all too mundane, lacking in excitement and inspiration. Really, he blamed that professor in the French Literature course who kept waking him up so rudely. He worked nights! He had to sleep some time didn't he?

"Wilm," he replies, giving the other man his nickname. "It's good to see you again."
He gestured towards the cafe.
"Are you going in?"

"Might as well," he replied easily. "Was hoping Kiku might be in?"
