WHO: Heracles & Ion WHEN: 11th July, after one in the afternoon WHERE: At the park -> WHAT: Heracles is bored, Ion has ulterior motives. Together, they are the... ~*kittyship*~
Ion himself had been on time (even a bit early), kitten in hand because he hadn't been able to locate a cat carrier in the moron's apartment without causing a sufficient amount of noise and alerting said moron to his presence.
He didn't much feel the need to get into that discussion with the old man just yet.
Klein had made a comfortable roost on Ion's shoulder as Ion flipped casually through a book and waited. The kitten meowed at passersby, eager for the attention and spare petting he could receive from strangers since Ion was rather lax in being affectionate.
Heracles' arrival had been rather loud (out of character for him, Ion privately thought, since he seemed inclined to be the quiet sort), rather flashy, and rather late. He plucked the kitten from his shoulder to drop it into his lap and sighed in irritation.
He wasn't going to go trotting up to the car like an obedient and eager dog. If Karpusi wanted him, he could come and find him.
Finally, after a moment of craning his neck, Heracles managed to spot Ion, waving at him and then closing the car door and walking towards the other man with long steps.
"Sorry I'm late," he said unapologetically, before he noticed the kitten.
"Oh, you have someone with you, I see," Heracles said, his eyes gaining a certain shine they only did when he saw cats. He held out his hand, careful not to make direct eye contact but rather peering at the kitten from the corner of his eyes, his smile widening as the kitten streched out to first snif his fingers and then push it's head against them.
Ion wasted no time in shoving Klein into Heracles' hands and standing, moving towards the parked car with the air of one who wanted to distance himself from something unpleasant quickly.
"I need you to take me somewhere," he called over his shoulder flippantly, disregarding Heracles' earlier statements.
Heracles wasn't even surprised. Of course Ion would have an ulterior motive. Actually, it might have been worrying if it hadn't been such an obvious one, he mused.
He petted the small cat, murmuring to it under his breath but sure to do it loudly enough for Ion to hear too.
"Hello, little one, is that guy yours? Awfully cold, isn't he?"
