Who: The Master and his servant.
When: June 22st, Midnight
Where: The slums, near the airship docks.
What: With Elizaveta's sudden departure after their wedding leaves Gilbert a little ticked off, and there's only one girl in the whole city who can help him deal with it.
The slums were not unfamiliar to Gilbert and they were not unfamiliar with him. His white hair and red eyes made him stand out, noble clothes and cane aside and the few nasty vagrants in the streets quickly parted and hidden deeper within the shadows as the albino ghosted through the dark streets.
It was only a few minutes before he found himself in front of the small set of buildings he owned. They were a set of old ship building factories that had been abandoned years ago. Now, well, they were his private little playgrounds for whenever he was angry. And tonight, angry didn't even cover the pure rage that was pounding through his veins, heartbeat thundering in his ears, knuckles white from gripping the cane so tightly and his red eyes devoid of any of his usual mirth and general amusement with watching the world unfold under the string he pulled.
As a puppet master, he expected things to go his way and now, for the first time in his memory, someone had disobeyed him. Someone he'd loved.
Someone would have to pay.
Stopping outside one of the factories, Gilbert pressed the door open, slipping inside to the room, closing the door. His eyes had already adjusted to the half-darkness of the night, moonlight floating in from the windows. The light illuminated a line of men all standing at differing levels of starvation and utter madness and as the door closed, their hollow eyes all flickered towards him.
Gilbert, offered a small smile. "Hello," he said, hand wrapping around the shaft of his cane, pulling it free and leaving the blade unsheathed, catching the gleam of the moonlight. "I am Lord Gilbert Beilschmidt. Your benefactor and I believe one of you has done the most unfortunate thing of betraying me."
His head tilted slightly and he glanced towards the shadows. "Nico? Darling, you don't need to hide anymore, they're being quite well-behaved. For now at least."
