WHERE: The Park
WHAT: It's always good to get out of the house and meet a kindred spirit.
Sindre wanted to feel guilty. He truly did.
But the outing with Raivis yesterday, though it had helped, had whet his desire for another denied luxury--solitude. True, the others tried to give him his space, but even when they weren't in the room, he could feel them hovering. And if Berwald and Valdi ever were out of the apartment at the same time, there was always another person there to take their place.
Sindre knew it was a good gesture. He knew he wasn't anywhere near healed. He knew they watched over him because they cared and didn't want him to get hurt again.
He still hated it.
And so with a good deal, but not enough, guilt, Sindre affixed a glamour to himself. Nothing strong, nothing taxing, just a simple look-away spell. It didn't make him invisible, just encouraged people not to notice him, but the commotion caused by Flower Egg snapping at Puffin had provided just enough of a distraction to allow him to slip out unheeded.
Sindre didn't even go far; he knew his limitations, and he knew they were many. He just wanted some fresh air and some time alone with his thoughts.
Which is how he found himself at the nearby park, resting on a bench. He kept just a bit of the glamour raised; he was quite visible, but unless someone specifically looked for him, he would likely go unremarked. He wanted to be visible in case someone did notice his disappearance and came looking for him.
