WHO: Herakles and Antonio
WHEN: 27th May, afternoon
WHERE: Vargas Pizzeria
WHAT: Heracles thinks his boss is cute, and he doesn't even need that much reason to flirt with someone. Antonio is NOT pleased.
Heracles lounged at the counter, leaning on the gleaming wood in a relaxed manner that somehow managed to seem urbane rather than just lazy. It was a quiet friday afternoon, with the lunchtime already past and not yet time for the late evening rush, and he was taking advantage of the peace while it lasted to consider the philosophy question they had been handed for the day after. And some other things too, once the original question began to bore him.
If Lovino had seen him, he'd probably grumble about how a waiter should look more snappy, Heracles though with iddle amusement. He'd long ago found that the owner's bark was worse than his bite... or rather, Heracles was very good at avoiding any bites so he wouldn't need to find out. Unless it was a fun sort of biting, he corrected internally, his absentminded smile gaining a slightly leery edge for just a moment.
Be that as it may, Heracles got along with Romano Vargas just swimmingly. Romano complained, sure, but lately he sounded more resigned than truly irritated, and Heracles would apologise cheerfully and try to flirt with him until Romano threw up his hands and pronounced him hopeless and leave in a huff, after which Heracles would go on doing things his own way. Business as usual. And he was fairly sure if Romano really minded any of it he'd have had no compunctions about giving him the boot already.
He looked up as a man stepped in from the front door. It was... what was his name, he was pretty sure he'd heard Romano use it, even though he hadn't introduced him to Heracles. Antonio? Yeah, probably that. Sounded Spanish, came to see Romano every now and again, they seemed pretty close friends, or he was just really handsy.
Heracles grinned at him.
"Hey, you just missed Romano," he said cheerfully, "He went to... get something or other." Heracles hadn't really been listening so he just made a vague gesture with his hand. "Don't think he'll be long though, if you want to wait."
