In which a Paladin and a Cleric begin their epic quest to save the realm.

What: In which the two come together without the help of a mysterious man in the corner of the local inn but rather through an online forum and a meeting at a comic book shop.
This new job was pretty much the most perfect thing that had ever happened to Alfred.
First of all he got to know all the best local nerds, got first dibs on comic books/miscellaneous fanboy stuff that came in and he actually got to correct a few people on their statements. He was even working to get a permanent collection of 3.5 books in the table-top area of the store so people wouldn't have to keep dragging their own over. That and he was tired of having to explain the differences between 4.0 and the older system. People really needed to get out more, jeez.
And, to top of his already awesome job, he was finally going to meet Navi. Which was just awesome because the kid/man/woman/unidentified life form was pretty much one of his most trusted friends and if they were friends online, it was only a matter of time before they became friends in real life. Serious lucky though, Liberty just seemed to be crawling with his internet friends, another huge plus about the city.
Checking one last time that he was wearing the right shirt, Alfred glanced at his watch before scanning the crowd. Which one of these nerds/geeks/anime fangirls was his Navi?
