Elizaveta arrived not ten minutes later, hair in disarray and a bit of grass stuck to the bottoms of her heels. Her face reddened as she tried to fix her hair, unsure of what to say.
"I'm actually not 'available' right now," she blurted out, giving up on her hair. "A-actually, I'm supposed to be having a bath right now. I was going to use my new soap, too." She paused, only to continue hurriedly, "But that's not to say that I don't want to be here! It's just... oh. This is hard, because I didn't think you'd call so soon. I mean, I saw it was you who rang but I let it go to voicemail because I was still kind of angry and a little bit scared but then I ran over here across that field and I've had a small glass of wine today so maybe I..."
She sat down next to him, head in her hands. "I'm sorry, I'm such a mess right now."
Automatically, Sindre lifted a hand to rest on her back. He didn't move it, like he normally would have, but hopefully it would provide some comfort without assuming too much about how their relationship stood.
Though, if 'Veta's last words were any indication, things might not be as broken as they could be.
"You look fine, 'Veta," he told her, as he always did when she got like this. Well, up until he became fed up and turned sarcastic.
He hesitated a moment, then added, "I missed you too."
Elizaveta couldn't hold it in any longer. She spread her arms out wide and took Sindre into a crushing hug, grinning. "Sindre, I'd forgive you in a heartbeat, you fool."
She buried her head in his shoulder, and relaxed. "I've said this already, but I've missed you to death."
Surprised by the sudden amount of 'Veta around him, Sindre blinked a few times before getting his brain in gear enough to hug back.
"Still," he said quietly. "I do need to apologize."
Taking a deep breath, Sindre started talking. "Yes, I was angry with what you did. And to an extent, yes, I believe I had a right to be.
"But what I did with that anger was not appropriate. I was hurting and stressed from multiple things, and I...
"It's easier to be angry. It's energizing, it can motivate you, it can help focus you. I latched on to the opportunity to be angry, but I took it all out on you. And for that, I'm sorry."

She squeezed him tighter as he kept going, and to her utter embarrassment, tears started forming at the back of her eyes. She pulled away after he was done to wipe them away, smiling.
"I forgive you for everything, as long as you can forgive me for being such a busybody." She laughed a little, and then sighed. "It's been a crazy couple of weeks, you know. I really could've used your sanity."
Looking around, she leaned in closer. "I gave Nico a co-manager position, and I'm still tearing my hair about it. She's driving me crazy."
Her cheeks flushed a little bit as she debated whether or not to bring up Gilbert.

Elizaveta rolled her eyes. "It's true. And I think it's only gotten worse now. It's just... I wasn't able to handle it on my own, you know? Too much hustle and bustle and now that I have a boy-"
She paused, flushing the tiniest bit. "Anyway, how are you doing? Better, I hope."

Ignoring her question, Sindre latched onto the boy comment.
"You have a boy?," he asked. "'Veta, we talked about this. You cannot keep men tied up in your closet to use as your own personal playthings. Let him go."

Elizaveta snorted, her blush still present on her cheeks.
"It's not like that, of course. It's just this guy who is now my boyfriend and you know, we may have talked about him once or twice and he's nothing special--or well yes, he is quite special but it doesn't really matter because it's just Gilbert."

Sindre shook his head. "I'm fine, 'Veta. Other people are allowed to be happy; I won't begrudge them that. They have nothing to do with Runi's idiocy."
He hesitated a moment. He had something that would rile her beyond feeling guilty.
However, he knew just how far under the bus he might be throwing himself.
Putting up a mildly amused smirk to cover any unease, he said, deliberately casual, "I'm afraid I never did see Gilbert's sweet side. I was far more interested in how good he was in bed."

Then, "I missed you."

Well, there was only one way to find out.
"So I guess that means that if I were to apologize right now..." she lifted her head, eyes staring straight into Sindre's, "You would forgive me?"

Her news had him blinking. "Nico? Isn't she the one who you utterly hate? Why would you make her co-manager?"

She looked down. "Actually, I shouldn't be saying this, should I? I'm sorry if I... awakened any unpleasant feelings in you."
