Nicoleta, as per usual, had disappeared conveniently before closing time, escaping all the fun of cleaning up. Sighing, Elizaveta lifted her skirt to climb up on top of the counter, reaching upwards to clean some of the gunk off the ceiling. Only God knew how it had gotten there. As she heard a cheery Spanish greeting, Elizaveta grabbed onto one of the cupboard handles to steady herself.
"Thanks for helping, Antonio!" She couldn't help but grin back at the man, who was really just a bundle of cheer and happiness. Were all Spaniards this wonderful?
Elizaveta looked down hesitantly, "Mind helping me down from this counter?"
"Just a moment, Liz..." He sat down the tray he had been carrying with a tinkle of ice and glass and turned back to his boss. She didn't have much warning before Antonio had scooped her off the counter and made sure both feet were on the floor before letting go and getting back on with his previous job, barely missing a beat. "There you go~"
Elizaveta bit back a scream as her arms flailed, eyes wide with surprise. Laughing, she steadied herself once she was back on the ground before crossing her arms in front of her chest. "A simple hand would've been enough, you know."
Shaking her head, she smiled at her employee. "But thank you anyways. We haven't really talked much, have we?"
He laughed at that. "Sorry...sometimes I get a little carried away. Didn't mean to actually carry you away there, Liz." He brushed a hand through his hair and glitter showered out of it. Huh. Still had to get used to that.
"I guess we haven't really had a whole lot of a chance to do any talking. I'm still trying to figure my way out around here. Almost got it, though!"
She couldn't help but think that the glitter suited him, just a little bit. Elizaveta made a mental note to tell Jo that she could continue with her ways.
"You're a natural, dear." She smiled, meaning every word. "The customers love you! But just make sure not to break any of their hearts, hm?"
Toni grinned, leaning up against a counter. "I'll do my best, but I can't make any promises. My heart's already completely taken by my Lovinito."
He stifled a yawn, eyes settling on a clock and trying to put the numbers in a reasonable order in his head. "Who may or may not let me in the bed tonight."
"Lovino?" Her interest piqued as Elizaveta hurriedly grabbed Antonio's hands. "You mean that adorable little bundles of needles related to Feliciano Vargas?" Her eyes shone.
At the next comment, she felt her heart thump. "No no no, then you must go home at once! Wake Romano up and tell him it's my fault. Really, Toni, why didn't you tell me this before?"

His smile was packed full of confusion, and a little nervousness, as his boss urged him to go home and wake up his lover. "Ah...because my shift isn't over yet?"
He was not sure if this was the right answer at all, but he was at least glad that Elizaveta seemed to be on his side. For exactly what...well, he wasn't sure of that either.
"No, I didn't mean that dear!" Elizaveta laughed, "I meant that the fact that you were in a relationship."
She tapped her finger on her chin, "I suppose it isn't as well known as before. I have a thing for knowing gossip, see? I guess I'm just a bit curious as to how you tamed Lovi."
"Oh...that!" His smile melted into something dreamy, and in fact, something about him turned soft at the use of his special nickname for the Italian.
"Well, I'm not sure really. About taming him or...ah, I just know that it took about two years of reassuring him I wasn't going anywhere. Up until I almost did hafta go somewhere. Did you hear about the trial..? It was kindof a mess, but it really helped us out. For figuring out the important things...oh!" He grinned sheepishly, realizing his mouth was running away with him again. "Sorry if I keep going on and on. It's just...Lovi, y'know? I forget to stop talking."
Elizaveta totally melted, and she felt herself giving the Spaniard a wide grin. "Oh Antonio, that's so... that's so sweet and so lovely. I don't mind about you going on, I really don't. I... also understand the feeling of loving someone." She blushed a little, but kept going.
"Either way, whenever you two want to go on a nice evening date, just tell me, alright? I'll try to figure something out in advance." She winked.
He beamed a thousand kilowatt grin at the Hungarian, grabbing her into a glittery bear hug. "Thanks, Liz~!" After a moment, he seemed to realize that his boss might like it if she could breathe and have both feet on the floor. With another little sheepish smile, he let her go, dusting some of the glitter off.

Elizaveta laughed as, once again, she was up in the air. This time though, she was a bit more relieved to be put down. Even though he was a dear, he had an awfully strong hug. Once she was on the ground, she took a second to catch her breath before her cheeks flushed for something totally different.
"Oh, yes. Yes I am." Smiling a little embarrassedly, she tucked a strand of hair behind her head. "Actually, I think you know him, he was familiar with your name when I brought it up. Gilbert Beilschmidt? Y-yeah, we're... finally a couple."

"You...and Gil?"
He paused a moment to wrap his head around it. And then he took her hands in his, positively beaming. "Congratulations! Are you happy? I mean, you mentioned being in love, so of course you're happy, but I guess I'm really happy for you and for Gil, too! Being happy and in love...There isn't much that's better than that~ Except for maybe being loved back. Liz, lemme know if you ever need anything, okay?"

For some reason, everyone she told seemed to be having a bit of a tough time with the thought of them two together. Elizaveta smiled. Really, Antonio was such a sweetheart.
"Thanks, Antonio!" She winked, dusting her hands off. "And yes, being in love is wonderful. I can tell from your expression that you definitely know the feeling, so I'll gladly return the favour of getting you anything you might need, alright? You know where to find me!" She checked her clock. "Oh god, it really is getting late. You can go first, alright? I'll bet you that the little grump of yours is actually waiting for you."
"He pretends to be sleeping when I get in but..." He drifted off into a dreamy smile, untying his apron and tossing it with the rest to be laundered and de-glittered. He could frankly use with some de-glittering himself, as he knows Lovi will yell at him if the sheets and pillows are sparkling in the morning.
"Thanks for helping, Antonio!" She couldn't help but grin back at the man, who was really just a bundle of cheer and happiness. Were all Spaniards this wonderful?
