PFFFF Don't worry about it. xD It made for a good giggle <3 vicious_wolf May 2 2011, 15:46:00 UTC
Moon was really happy to be at this ball. It was a nice way to thank the fire department for what they'd done for the city. The boss was proud and happy with his men, Moon's colleagues were of course having a blast with alcohol and the pretty ladies they'd invited and the music was great ( ... )

Ah, within seconds, there were results.

Genuinely amused, her grin became more vibrant. With her arm propped up to a 45 degree angle, she began to shake the winecup in very subtle gyrations. Here, she kicked in the actress and bolded her Romanian accent; statistics say boys love it. It was worth a try, anyway.

"The night is lovely, da?" Nicoleta glanced at the ceiling in a dreamy-like way, as if raptured by some sort of reverie. "There are so many handsome men here. I was afraid I would not be able to talk to any."

IS SO CUTE DA~? How does he get dragged into these things... vicious_wolf May 3 2011, 16:26:19 UTC
That accent was not American. The woman even looked like she was from another world. Her entire self was glowing of sex appeal.
Hopefully Remy wouldn't see the way he was looking at her. But he wasn't gonna do anything. At all.

"It is lovely." He said, agreeing. Handsome men, huh? Well, he couldn't exactly deny that a lot of the firefighters were in good shape and had a proper style of dress.

"Who did you come with?" he asked, wondering where her date was.

Her eyelashes fluttered several times to inwardly excuse the man for not catching her drift. Yet she revealed a small smile to appear natural. Hopefully he was not the daft type.

"Ah." Nicoleta placed a gentle hand on her cheek, feigning distraught. "My husband... Yet he is most likely with other women. I wish not to say his name... He has been very bad to me." The pain her voice was palpable but was poorly executed. She did pray that he bought it; she was no Hollywood bred actress, that was for sure.

"We have had many problems, da... Sometimes it makes me regret being a woman."

PINK UNDERWEAR? WHAT ARE YOU INSINUATING? >A> vicious_wolf May 4 2011, 16:30:22 UTC
"... I see.... I'm sorry about that." Moon said, even though it wasn't his fault or his business. It just seemed like the proper thing to do in a situation like this.

Not that he could remember any of the guys at work being married to such a fox... Maybe she was married to one of the firefighters from the other division that had joined them...

At least it didn't look like he was beating her. Either that or she was very good with makeup and hiding any bruises.

For some reason she didn't seem that sad... Or she didn't show it that much.
Moon looked at the drinks in his hands. Maybe he should go back to Remy. Bob was probably trying his lame jokes and boring her now...
"I should go back to my date." he said.

NOTHING OF ANY SORT, DEAR. 5minutetheft May 5 2011, 03:53:21 UTC
Nicoleta gave him a subtle nod as she sipped her wine; however, her impatience began to claw her insides. She needed to finish things swift so it would not be conspicuous. Once he spoke about leaving, she knew that she had to grapple on to him until the answers seep out.

Her face softened, every detail of her countenance softened into a facade that almost seemed real. Inside, her heart began to skip a beat as adrenaline pumped through her veins. "I..." She paused as she knitted her eyebrows, deliberately hesitating to exaggerate the act. "I'm terribly sorry, Domnu, yet I noticed that you are one of the firefighters in this city's brigade."

With a sheepish grace, she prepared herself with the appropriate semblance for an entreaty to his cooperation. "Please," That felt like a slap on the face, "I need to... ask you a few questions. It would help me very much. Yet I do not believe this is the appropriate place."

Now she really wanted to slap herself. God, she hated her boss so much.

It was of course true that he was one of the firefighters of this city. Moon stopped in his tracks when she spoke again, becoming a bit curious. Was she in trouble?

"..." He looked at her, raising an eyebrow. "Is something wrong, miss?" he asked, coming back to her again. "There are lots of other firefighters in here, you can ask them as well if you need help."

He really needed to get back to Remy... Hopefully she wasn't getting impatient.

She stared at the floor as she feigned vulnerability. "I'm afraid only you are able to help me. I'm rather... unpopular with the others." Hastily, to continue this act, she took out a handkerchief and dabbed her tear ducts as she teared up - silly.

"Please, domnule, I would like to speak to you more privately. What you know might save my life."

What in the world was going on? Was she in THAT much trouble?

"Uhmm..." He wasn't quite sure what to say or do, but she seemed honest enough.. Was her husband that bad?

"I guess...." He shrugged.

A few minutes later, they were out on a balcony, away from the other guests. Moon was curious... And why him of all people?
