WHAT: Using television as an excuse to avoid loneliness
It didn't take long for Sindre to make it to Wilm's apartment. He hadn't been doing much at all; the apartment was already clean, the laundry already done, all chores previously completed to avoid thinking.
So it was a relief when Wilm took him up on his offer. Before Berwald's visit, Sindre probably wouldn't have suggested anything that involved interaction. But once one social situation had been forced, he felt better about a second.
Still, he had to force himself to knock on the door. He had dealt with Kai and with Berwald, but part of him didn't want to take on yet another person who would be recovering from Søren's departure.
After a few minutes of stalling, though, he was able to knock. First softly, but the next two were much louder.
