WHEN: April 21st, early Thursday afternoon
WHERE: LU, outdoor sitting area.
WHAT: Just a couple of co-workers bonding after a bad week.

Veronika stared at the printed words for one, two, three more seconds before snapping the thin book shut, a sigh escaping her lips as set the book beside her.
She had been outside for a while now -- or maybe only ten minutes, she wasn't quite sure. A meeting with her department had been scheduled for this morning, thus forcing the older woman to leave the comfort of her bed and home in order to trudge her way to campus. She had canceled her office hours for the day, which in itself was something the Czech woman never did unless deemed absolutely necessary. But Veronika supposed that even professors had their off days. And, if anything, the woman mused, head tilting back to enjoy the brief glimpse of sun peaking behind an otherwise overcast sky, she could always schedule appointments outside of her regular office hours if a student wanted to speak to her immediately.
Shifting on the concrete bench, Veronika stretched out her legs, briefly wondering if she should perhaps go home now. Canceling her office hours had meant canceling her usual lunch date with Dewi, so now that the meeting was done and over with, there was no need for her to stay on campus any longer.
But it was actually quite comfortable, being outside, away from the chaos of campus life as she was hidden behind two of the main humanities and social sciences buildings.
Another sigh.
Maybe she should go home. Go home and take a nap and then type up an ad for the weekend, even.
