At the sound of the chimes, Sindre looked up from where he was tweaking a custom charm. Business had been slow enough for him to get away with working while manning the cashier.
He was surprised to see Kiku in here, especially after what had transpired before. He couldn't think of a reason he would come here as a customer, but he wasn't sure he wanted to talk to him after the awkwardness previously.
He kept his eyes focused down, suddenly feeling a little embarrassed by the situation. "I wanted to apologize. I...feel that I offended you in some way, and I really did not mean to...so," the giftwrapped book was handed carefully across the counter with a measured bow.
"We're not too busy--" Sindre started, but cut himself off as Kiku continued.
He shook his head once Kiku finished speaking. "I wasn't offended," he tried to reassure. "I didn't mean to give that impression. It isn't necessary." The last was said with a gesture to the book, and he made no move to take it from the other man.
Sindre must have been fairly offended if he wouldn't take the offering. But Kiku was tenacious in his apology. Before he left this shop, things would be properly settled.
"It isn't much, but...you seemed interested in youkai, so I thought perhaps this would be useful to you." He offered it again, two handed. "Besides, it is not every day that I meet anyone interested in such things as enenra."

Still, Sindre had a job to do. "Can I help you?"
