Who: Kai and Sindre
When: Last Thursday, April 7th
Where: Sindre's apartment
What: Kai, on the notion of wanting to avoid certain death, takes time out of the day to confront Sindre to talk about his date
He had been staring down the apartment door for at least a half hour now, minutes ticking by like years, all in all heightening the anxiety that was already hard pressed on his shoulders. Kai looked at the number and was filled with an internal sense of dread; he had honestly thought there was nothing wrong with asking Valdi out on a date. They were two grown ass adults, with minds of their own and freewill to choose what they wanted to do. He still held firm confidence to that idea, but he knew it also came coupled with being responsible and respectful to Valdi, and in the same stone's throw, to Sindre.
He knew Sindre didn't condone of his pot smoking, anarchy peddling, rambunctious shenanigan making ways. It didn't help that when he had first met Valdi a slip of tongue had pretty much sealed the deal that he'd have to work very hard to gain the Norwegian's approval of even friendship with his younger brother. And Kai had worked diligently to improve upon his projected image: he started at the University in January, was now working part time at Madame Maime's, had a full-time position with Gilbert and the fashion team, was working to at least cut back on the recreational pot use and drinking (which life was life, and that was an aspect that would never be taken out of his; Sindre would just have to live with it).
But the date had been a spur of the moment idea, and he was more than glad he took the chance. It gave him the confidence that maybe another could happen soon; it had just become time to get the blessing of both their older brothers. He had gone so far as to pick up "suitable" clothing choices for the day, dressed in a pressed crimson button down shirt, paired with a black vest and tailored pair of black slacks, hair wore down from it's more proud and traditional fanfare of spikes.
With a loud, drawn sigh Kai knocked on the door, seeming downtrodden and nervous with his head between his shoulders.
