The Rescue
Who: Lili, Valdi and a stray puppy.
When: Sunday March 20th, afternoon
Where: Wherever Lili caught the puppy, aka somewhere on the street.
What: Lili is lost and distressed and Valdi comes to save the day!
The winter chill was still leaving it's mark on the first day of Spring it seemed. Lili had expected it to be a bit warmer than usual today but she was sorely mistaken, which was the apparent by the shaking of her body as he stood on the sidewalk. A pair of large brown eyes looked up at her from the small puppy that sat at her side. He looked so pitiful and sad, Lili couldn't help but pick him up into her arms and hold him close against her. At least now they could share each other's warmth, or perhaps that was just an excuse for her to hold the poor thing.
Lili hoped that it would only take a few minutes for the mysterious boy to find her. He said he had seen her, which was comforting. At least there was someone out there who knew where she was because she sure didn't. Her eyes scanned the immediate area looking for the boy before remembering that she did not know who she was indeed looking for. He really was a mysterious rescuer.
"What do you think, hund? Do you think the boy is really coming?" The pup remained straight-faced and simply snuggled deeper into the girl's arms. "Yeah, I hope so too."
