Who: Ludwig and Gilbert
When: March 4th
Where: Francis' apartment (but not for long!)
What: Léon is a direct threat against Gilbert's well-being. Time for some brotherly bonding!
This was life or death.
Seriously. This time it was actually life or death. There was a man outside his door that was keen on killing him for no particular reason other than being Prussian and a heathen. Well, he'd been under death threat for worse... This was just more strange than anything because a) the guy was apparently related to Francis a b) THE GUY WAS APPARENTLY RELATED TO FRANCIS. Since when did Francis have elitist Frenchmen as family? Not that he was surprised, but c'mon, a little warning would've been nice.
There was more yelling from the others side of the door and Gilbert ignored it as his phone vibrated. Picking it up, he read the text from his brother and sighed with relief. He finally had an escape. Doing what the text had said, he quickly packed a
bag, slinging it over his shoulders, put a little fish food in the bowl for Bismarck and Gilfish, stuck some food in a bowl for Frederick and then prepared himself to leave.
It was really risky, his plan, but it was better than trying to scale down the side of the apartment complex. The plan was risky because of one really big factor. Gilbert didn't have a plan. He was just going to do what instinct told him to do. Taking a deep breath, he pulled open the door of his room, starting to run, passing by the living room, seeing Francis narrowly dodge a swipe. He gave the Frenchman a big wave. "I'll be back later!" he crowed, knowing he was in the clear as soon as he slipped out of the apartment.
Taking the stairs instead of risking the elevator which could be rigged or something, Gilbert appeared at the front of the complex, nearly fainting with relief when he saw his brother's car parked outside and his brother leaning against it, waiting, phone in hand.
"Hallo~" he said, grinning.
