ARG, SORRY THIS IS LATE /3/ hergelaufene January 24 2011, 12:56:32 UTC
Gabriella opened the door one knock in, staring down at the boy. Taking a deep breath, she reached forward, fixing his hair with a few quick swipes of her hands, then his sweater and his sleeves. Satisfied with his appearance (because the apartment couldn't just have any old scruffy boy in there) Gabriella pulled him inside and nuzzled Linus close to her chest.

"You're late!" She said, staring down at the boy pressed against her bust and pulling him away, quirking her head, "How long were you waiting out there this time? You have to just start knocking Linus, I'm not going to bite you."

Sitting him down on one of her white couches, she had to fix his hair again before gliding away to the kitchen. "What do you want to drink? We're going to be sitting for a while, try and look a bit more comfortable," she smiled, "Unless you're still scared of me Herr Linus~?"

Linus sat upright on the couch, a blatant blush still plastered on his face after being pressed into his employer's bosom. It wasn't as if this action was anything new; it just happened to catch him off-guard every time. The boy's stiff body sat slightly more against the cushion, to make himself more comfortable. Although now, he just looked quite awkward.

"I apologize for keeping you, Miss Gabriella. I was just thinking." Without noticing, Linus began playing with his newly-fixed sweater sleeves; so that they now covered up to his fingertips. A nervous habit of the boy and he knew it.

His gaze moved quickly to Gabriella as she spoke again; heading into the kitchen. They were going to be sitting here for a while? Linus suddenly felt that this meeting was not like the others. Gabriella had something on her mind. That much was obvious. But what was it? "U-uhm. Nein, nein, I am not afraid of Miss Gabriella." He blinked, realizing he should probably get a drink if they were going to be there for a while. "I will just have a water, ( ... )

AGAIN, I AM LATE! hergelaufene January 26 2011, 10:53:18 UTC
Getting the glass of water for the boy and a bit of champagne mixed with orange juice for herself, Gabriella placed the glass in front of the boy, brushing a hand over his hair again before sitting down across from his him, folding one leg over the other, straightening out her her skirt. She simply watched the young man for a minute, nails running along the arm of her chair in a constant tempo, the red nail polish half reflecting in the white paint of the chair.

"So, Linus," she said, taping a small sip of her drink, red eyes never leaving the boy, either watching his eyes, the fiddling fingers or the hunching nervousness in his shoulders, "I've heard you're apart of a very... interesting production lately."

Oh yes. She would get to the bottom of this "Kira" business.

i-it's still okay? :.D purple_ribbon4 January 26 2011, 17:57:39 UTC
"Danke." Linus took the glass between his two covered hands, so only the tips of his fingers felt the cool aura of the water. The boy felt another cold aura in the room, though. It wasn't until he finally looked up, after taking a sip, that he noticed Gabriella's gaze. Immediately, his eyes raced back to his water. Okay. There was definitely something going on in that head of hers.

The metronome of her nails against the chair only made Linus worry more. Then he thought; was she going to fire him? His hands clutched at the glass of water as if he had been in a desert for days. What had he done wrong? As she spoke, Linus tensed up but then relaxed, almost all in one motion. The movie. She wanted to know about the movie.

"Oh! The movie? Ja, my good friend Kira asked me to do it, so I did. It is quite odd though. I think there are actually two guys fighting over my character." There was a brief pause, where Linus took the opportunity to look back up at his employer warily. "Kinda weird, huh?"

"So when these two boys were... fighting over you," Gabriella prompted, leaning forward and just maybe displaying the tiniest bit of cleavage, red eyes watching his to see where exactly his soft ones drifted and just how long they stayed there. This was definitely her favourite way to test the men working with her.

She smiled, plump lips teasing the edge of her glass. "How did it make you feel~?"

Linus' gaze began to move slowly downward; but he realized what he was doing. He attempted to fix his eyes back onto Gabriella's but...the way she was leaning. He couldn't help but let his eyes travel for a moment before he reached for his water again, hoping it would snap him out of it. A bright blush had spread like a wildfire across his cheeks at this point.

"W-well. It was just acting. So it didn't really bother me, I suppose." The young man took a long gulp from his water, making sure not to look at Gabriella like he had been just a moment before. He was terribly confused. What was she doing? The way she was acting and the questions being asked were just not normal. "Excuse me Miss Gabriella, but what do you mean by 'how did it make me feel'?"

Passed the test.

Gabriella leaned back, flopping into her chair and giving a sigh of relief, brushing a hand across her forehead, as if that entire display of cleavage had taken all of her energy. Looking this good did take a lot of effort, truth be told.

"I thought you swung the other way for a while," Gabriella said, grinning and waving a hand at him, finishing her champagne and standing up, "but obviously not! You never hit on me or anything and I was curious if that was you just being polite or if you liked boys. Cleared that up so we're good to go."

Finding herself int he kitchen, she found a bottle of beer and cracked it open on the side of the counter, looking at Linus curiously. "So if you haven't been hitting on me, there must be someone else~"

Linus froze as he reached to set his glass back onto the table. Swung the other way. Gabriella thought he swung the other way. He let the thought sit in his mind while the glass of water made it's way back to his mouth. It wasn't exactly as if he hadn't thought about boys like that. They would pass through his mind every once in a while, but he sure wasn't going to go into that much detail with Gabriella. The situation was uncomfortable enough as it was.

With a deep breath Linus began to twiddle his fingers around the glass. "There is a girl. Her name is Ella, well Marcella. But I call her Ella. Sh-she's pretty and what not. And we date sometimes. Nothing has come of it though." He didn't mean to sounds so defeated. The relationship was a work in progress. The progress was just taking a while.

Eyebrow quirked, Gabriella walked back over to him, sitting down, offering the beer. "Sounds like this girl is a bit of an idiot," she said, drumming her fingers on the couch, "and I think I've seen her once or twice, the little brunette you sometimes leave with, right? Ugh, she needs to not wear so much colour, seriously, it just drains her."

The Prussian woman hummed to herself. "But I guess she would kind of fit you. I'm just glad you're not into me, I'd hate to have to break your little heart Linus~"

"I think I may be the idiot." Linus sighed deeply, hands folded in his lap. It was his fault that they had not taken the next step in the relationship. It was his fault they weren't boyfriend and girlfriend. And it was definitely his fault that they had not even kissed yet. His eyes met the bottle of beer and widened as if asking if it were okay to drink from.

Linus had adapted to Gabriella's habits by now. He knew that she expected men to fawn over her, which was fine. She was a beautiful woman. But as she had mentioned, she was far out of his league. And Ella was just...perfect for him. "Well, you do not have to worry about breaking my heart. Marcella will be the one to do that."

Taking one of his folded hands, Gabriella forced the beer into his hand, smiling. Sometimes Linus just needed that extra push. Relaxing back into the couch, she folded one of her legs over the other, locking her fingers over her knee. "You're not very optimistic, are you Linus?" Gabriella pointed out, quirking her head.

"And why is this little... Marcella going to break your heart? You're a sweet boy, you have a good and steady job." The Prussian tilted her head, "It doesn't make any sense unless..." The gears in her head start to turn. Surely Linus hasn't already gone that far with this new girl.
