Aug 24, 2009 17:05

WHO: Kim, Zhi and Hak Soo
WHEN: August 24th (late afternoon)
WHERE: The Charleston, Apt. 4B and Apt. 4A
WHAT: Kim and Zhi embark on a quest to retrieve Mei's clothes
The apartment was, for once, quiet.

Yao was at school, being a substitute teacher, Yong was out doing... whatever Yong did, and as for Zhi? He had just given up reading a book and was lying on his stomach on his bed, dreading the upcoming task he would have to deal with in a few minutes: getting Mei's clothes back from Hak Soo. He sighed and rolled over to face the ceiling, folding his arms beneath his head. Kim would be coming soon, but he wasn't any more eager about that than having to go alone. True, he had a much better chance of survival when faced with Hak Soo's wrath than, say, his brother, but still...

Zhi shifted to lie on his side, his eyes falling on his beloved Xiang, and past that, hanging on his wardrobe's handle, Hak Soo's clothes that Mei had given him to exchange for her's. Why had he agreed to this again? He reached out and fished around inside one of his nightstand's drawers, pulling out the crumpled draft of a note he had once written. Zhi gazed at it for a moment, the paper resting in his outstretched hand, and scrunched it up again before stuffing it back into the open drawer, not bothering to close it. It had been a while, but the answer was still obvious, really.
