WHO: Sadiq and Kiku
WHEN: Wednesday afternoon ( November 3 )
WHERE: The Royal Café
WHY: Well who wouldn't want to find themselves meandering over to the small maid cafe in the Huayuan district? It was full of cute waitresses and friendly smiles that no man can quite deny.
He'd heard about the small cafe, but Sadiq hadn't once ventured into this part of Liberty. It wasn't that he didn't like the typical scene of a China Town; actually, he found them to actually be comforting and homey. As opposed to other parts of the city, which were home to maybe a few colorful signs and posters, but an otherwise dull and gray setting. Littered with wasted paper and cigarette butts. Sadiq stepped on a piece of chewed gun and spent a good few minutes scraping it back off onto the sidewalk. Huayuan wasn't really different in hygiene, he supposed, but it had more spark of personality.
Though he was dissatisfied due to the fact that he still didn't have a clue how "Huayuan" was pronounced.
The Royal Cafe was in sight, and Sadiq pulled the collar of his jacket, straightening it despite a clear lack of care to his appearance normally. Not quite a nervous habit as it was just a... habit. One of the small things he did to probably intimidate the folks around him, in that whole "holier than thou" attitude. Though, as he pushed past the doors and was immediately assaulted with warm air and the sweet smells of cakes and pastry deserts, among coffee and teas, the douchy exterior melted. He could order all of it, and eat right there. Indulging on sugar was what the Fall season was made for... Which reminded him to buy some rose water when he was done here.
Sadiq was greeted by a pretty Asian hostess, who gracefully escorted him to a small table and asked that he wait for his server, all while handing him a dainty little menu. It was very feminine, but somehow very worth it. He sat back and waited, folding his arms behind his head and kindly refraining from propping his legs on the table.
