WHO: Ivan and Emiliana
WHEN: Sometime in 2007
WHERE: Here, there, and everywhere.
WHAT: "Your face against the trees, but I just see the memories as they come. "

She had been coming to this flower shop since late August now.

Ever since she moved into her apartment - her new home after living in the dorms for a year - Emi found that she needed a way to properly decorate her bedroom, living room, and kitchen. After putting all her pictures, traditional Mexican art, and random trinkets and nicknack's up, Emi found that something was still missing.

And upon stumbling across a small, quaint flower shop one day while walking home from her morning classes, Emi finally figured out what she both wanted and needed in her new home.

Flores.

Hence why she know found herself back, leaning against the counter as she chatted up the man behind the encounter. Ivan. He was...he was nice, Emi mused as she propped her elbows up against the class counter with a small grin as he gathered the flowers she had pointed at earlier. They had stricken up a quick, albeit odd, friendship after the first month of her coming here.

"Ivan," Emi started after a brief pause. "Have I ever told you what we call sunflowers in Spanish?" The nineteen year old turned her gaze to the aforementioned flowers beside the tall Russian. "Girasol," she said with a smile. "I've heard stories that sunflowers may have first been domesticated in Mexico, but I think that's still being researched, so it's hard to really say..."
