WHO: Grace and Rory (plus any nosey buggers)
WHEN: Evening, Tuesday, October 18th
WHERE: Three Broomsticks
WHAT: Grace decides Rory needs some time away from the chaos at the castle so she takes her on a non-date to relax
The chaos that had begun that weekend hadn’t calmed yet and the fall out was still being felt. And Grace was actually feeling sorry for those mischief making Gryffindors. Having both your prank pulling ghost AND your head of house berate you in the Great Hall at breakfast had to be hard. But Grace felt sorrier for Rory. Rory looked as if one wrong word or raised voice and she would burst into tears. Grace hated seeing Rory so depressed.
Grace disliked trouble making students not because they were disruptive but because when they had to be brought to the Headmistresses office Rory always felt that somehow the whole thing was her fault. Rory had a misguided belief that any chaos in the school was her fault and that the castle was one minute away from crumbling around her.
But Grace knew exactly what Rory needed. She needed a night away from the castle to just relax and not think about all the chaos. And since Grace was well ahead for her lessons that week she decided tonight was as good a night as any to take Rory down to the Three Broomsticks.
Grace was already half way to Rory’s rooms before she had made up her mind at what they would do. Grace found herself in front of Rory’s door in record time, before knocking.
“Rory it’s Grace, open up!”
