SO LIKE, LET'S PRETEND GUPTA IS *NOT* FIFTEEN. B| He wouldn't be legal even as a 7th year lol. bornofisis October 18 2010, 02:19:50 UTC
Contrary to popular belief, Gupta was not a fantastic student. He wasn't lazy or stupid in any way, but he simply wasn't GOOD at some subjects, particularly ones that requires physical activity or, in the case of the Defense Against the Dark Arts class, an aggressive streak that he simply did not possess. He had particular difficulties focusing in the class because, to be perfectly honest, he was always distracted by the professor. True, Professor Adnan did not have many fans outside Slytherin, but no one could deny that he wasn't a good-looking man with dark features, a low, almost animalistic way of speech and a smirk that made even the most innocent of girls swoon and sigh.

Oh yes, Gupta had it bad. He hadn't told anyone (not even his mother, whom he was sure would disapprove of him crushing on a professor, let alone the Head of Slytherin House), but it wasn't something he was particularly ashamed of either. He had always leaned toward men (growing up with a lot of women didn't help matters) and the fact that Sadiq came from a Middle Eastern background much like himself was just one more reason to become attached to him.

Plus, it didn't seem like Professor Adnan was... discouraging him. Gupta had done nothing more than smile at him, but eventually, as the years rolled on, it seemed like the teacher was beginning to smile back. He noticed the small changes at first; the brush of a hand, a nod of approval (always reserved for those whom weren't Gryffindor, of course), and even a hand on the curve of his back when Sadiq was helping him with a particularly difficult spell.

Gupta was not a blushing maiden-in-distress that hid behind a fan or gossiped to with friends. Despite being polite and quiet to a fault, he allowed himself to show a flash of affection toward Sadiq and no other males. When the professor had been briefly hospitalized due to a spell that backfired from a particularly enthusiastic Gryffindor student, Gupta had visited him often, brought him candy and had even dared to caress the professor's face when they had a quiet moment in private. To his delight, he had not be pushed away.

Their tutoring sessions had, in fact, remained tutoring sessions, but Sadiq was surprisingly patient with Gupta (at least, compared to other students). He didn't seem to mind if the student took up more of his free time than planned, or if Gupta continuously messed up spell after spell. However, not even Sadiq could control the final pace of the class, and it became clear to them both that the Egyptian boy was still struggling.

Hence, Gupta found himself waiting for the swarm of first years to exit from the DADA classroom before slipping between the large, mahogany double doors after the last student left. He noticed their excitable chatter about a Boggart, but as a fourth year student, he was already familiar with such a creature and had little fear of it.

Seeing a tall, broad-shouldered wizard hunched over something on the ground, Gupta smiled and held his textbook close to his chest, waiting patiently. Sadiq stood, holding some small, wriggling creature between his fingers. Then, suddenly, he jerked back and let it go as it fought his grip.

Instinctively, Gupta opened his mouth to call out a warning, but what happened next ripped his next breath out of his lungs. The Boggart immediately took the shape of a broken, battered body with blood-soaked dark hair, golden eyes white with agony, and the uniform of a Hufflepuff student.

Gupta's hands flew up to his mouth and he dropped his textbook in horror. "Sadiq," the name was out of his mouth before he could stop himself, and it came out airy and strained, like his throat had closed on him and he was having a hard time finding the air to shout.

He couldn’t even be frustrated with himself for being careless as he slowly reached out, gut twisting, so that he could touch the cold cheek of what he had been tricked into believing was Gupta. Sadiq prided himself in being fearless and able to stand up to most anything, but to see the dead body of someone who he had grown so fond of. Allah, it hurt.

His fingers were only an inch away from giving in to the Boggart’s game; from touching the corpse. So close. But a sharp gasp from behind broke him from his state violently, and his mind reeled back to the present, back to what he was supposed to be doing. As if his fingers had been burned, Sadiq pulled his hand back again and into his pocket, where he retrieved his wand. Pointing it at the Boggart with an unsteady hand, he growled the proper spell through clenched teeth, blood and matter flooding back into the body as if in reverse. Forced to take in a different form. A doll, strings from its arms and legs attached to some elevated wooden popsicle sticks, making it dance. Sadiq didn't laugh; if anything it only pissed him off more, and he wasted no time shoving it into the wardrobe.

As the doors closed and locked, Sadiq could only press his forehead against the cool wood. It wasn't real, but it hurt. He could only hope that his unwarranted company had decided to leave at this point.

Whoa, that icon is intense. bornofisis October 18 2010, 03:19:29 UTC
Gupta stood for a few minutes in utter, painful silence. His feet felt frozen to the ground and his limbs, alternately, felt like they were made of jello. It took him a few more seconds to realize that his face was wet with tears. Not even bothering to hide them (he hadn't cried in years, but this wasn't the time or place to ponder about that), the boy finally forced his stunned body to take a step... then another. Then another. Ignoring his fallen textbook, he made a beeline for Sadiq, his heart throbbing painfully in his throat and his head still spinning with the implications of what he had seen.

The Boggart revealed one's worst fear. Sadiq, in turn, had feared Gupta's death more than anything else in the world, and as horrifying as the image of himself as a corpse had been, the Egyptian couldn't help be but very touched.

He reached out to Sadiq and buried his hands in the man's long robes, grabbing two handfuls of fabric like his life depended on it. He buried his face in the other's back and simply clung to the teacher's body. "Professor, I..." he started weakly, voice muffled and shakily. "I... I didn't know..." He didn't seem to notice that he had gone back to the most respective 'professor' title rather than calling Sadiq by name, which was something he had actually never done before.

The soft pad of feet grew closer, almost deafening in a room that was otherwise dead silent in respect to what the Boggart had done. Sadiq grit his teeth despite how tight his stomach felt, trying to keep a steady composure to avoid whatever pity he might be receive. His head hurt and his eyes stung, but Allah strike him down if he shows any sort of pain in front of a student; or a fellow professor, better yet. It was times like these when he had something besides a single pair of glasses to hide his face from the world and the judgment it brought.

Before anything was said between either occupant, he felt two fists bury themselves in his dark robes tightly, holding on as if about to be swept away by some other force. Sadiq's muscles tightened, deathly still as a soft voice choked out into his back. Fuck, shit, damn. Fuck. He could only cuss mentally so many times before he realized that doing so wasn't about to change anything. Gupta was young and... Fuck. He could only imagine how much more this hurt Gupta than himself; to see one's own rotting, dead corpse, with blood and organs spilling from your stomach... Possibly a killing curse worse than Crucio or Avada Kedavra.

Sadiq felt sick. How does he respond to this?

Nothing was going to make the situation better if Sadiq just sat around allowing Gupta to cry into his back, anyway. Carefully, he turned himself around, returning his wand again into the pocket of his trousers before bringing his arms up to wrap around the boy's quivering form. He'd never held the teen before, but... he was realizing yet again how short he was compared to himself. "Dammit, Gupta... I'm sorry you had to see that... I dunno what got into me back there."

Gupta hiccuped despite his best efforts, but any other sounds died in his throat when he felt the man's body turn and engulf him with strong, robe-covered arms. Instinctively, the boy leaned into the embrace, burying his face in the crook of the other's neck (he could barely reach it) and drawing comfort from the teacher's warmth. Gentle... he noted, noticing that Sadiq was holding him like he was going to shatter. Gupta didn't think that the gruff and physically imposing teacher was capable of such tenderness.

"Not your fault," he murmured faintly, resisting the urge to kiss the nearest patch of skin. He could feel himself calming down considerably, and most of the effect was coming from Sadiq's strong grip. He felt safe in the man's arms, even though he shouldn't considering the other was a professor, a Slytherin and noticeably older than he was. None of these facts were enough to pry Gupta's hands away from Sadiq's body, however, so they merely stood there for a few long minutes, waiting until Gupta's trembling body eventually stilled.

"Do you... really care that much?" he asked eventually, his voice small and muffled by Sadiq's skin.

Despite the time Sadiq had managed to get to know Gupta, he had never quite seen the boy just completely break down. The teen was short with the body of a dancer, but suddenly he felt as fragile as a porcelain doll as he quivered in his arms. It was something alien to be comforting anyone (let alone Gupta), but as each long second ticked by in which he could only rest his chin atop Gupta's head and smile the worries away, Sadiq was wondering why that was the case. Gupta fit nicely in his arms; as if he belonged there.

He could feel warmth in the pit of his stomach, something that was becoming rather familiar when around the boy. For so long, it was just a bothersome sensation... Now, as Gupta's small voice asked the question that had been on both of their minds, he was finally able to recognize it.

"Do ya need to ask?" Sadiq smiled a little, however odd he felt doing so. In perfect honesty, he wasn't sure how to feel. He'd just gotten done removing the dead body of Gupta from the ground, only to be replaced with a crying one in his arms. He was scared and guilty, yet laced with a certain fondness all at once. It was a lot emotion for anyone to sort through for one day, but as he took Gupta's chin between his fingers, his brain had momentarily decided to pause anyway. He lifted the boy's gaze to meet his and kissed him tenderly. Like taking a small taste of the forbidden fruit.

Gupta was quite content to stay there all day if he could, but Sadiq apparently had other ideas. Calloused fingers drew his chin upward and the Egyptian had only a split second to blink in confusion when the professor's face dipped down and captured his lips in a sweet, surprisingly sweet kiss.

The boy froze, but his shock only lasted for a split second. Carefully, as if afraid that this was a dream and Sadiq was a ghostly figure that would disappear the moment he touched him too hard, Gupta slid his hands up the front of Sadiq's chest to curl them around the base of the man's neck. The kiss was incredibly gentle, nothing more than lips dancing on lips, but the amount of care and affection between them was undeniable.

Too soon, the teacher had pulled back, probably to study Gupta's reaction. The boy's eyes, still somewhat puffy from crying, were glazed over and almost deliriously happy. He stood on tip-toe and wrapped his arms fully around Sadiq's neck, blinking those huge eyes of his as he offered his lips upward. "Again," he whispered. Gupta clearly wasn't as shy as people thought he was.

NEEDS MORE CONFETTI AND STREAMERS turkishsurprise October 20 2010, 04:51:17 UTC
It was abrupt and sudden, but Sadiq did not regret kissing Gupta at that moment. It was an action that contradicted itself at once, being both wrong and oh so right the minute cold fingers smoothed up his chest and inevitably wrapped around his neck, sharing body heat in an room that otherwise felt like it too had decided to accept the autumn weather. After so long of sharing careless smiles and unfair study sessions with his student, he finally felt like a weight had been lifted from his shoulders.

He did pull away eventually, licking his lips as he grinned down at the younger male, who's expression was actually close to mirroring his, if a little less smug (though the thought of a smug Gupta is just worrisome). The happiness that shown in the boy's eyes was partially baffling at first, but Sadiq accepted it in only a few long seconds. What had he done? He didn't really fucking care. No one needs to find out.

Though he was a little surprised as Gupta craned his neck up, voice soft but demanding somewhere in there. Sadiq blinked, leaning back as the other leaned in, purely as force of habit when something came close to his face. Slowly the force of the situation was hitting him again, from the Boggart to how he was now holding his student in his arms; and it wasn't the fact that he might be doing something illegal that made the older man uncomfortable, but the chance that he could be somehow influencing Gupta into bad things. He knew he wasn't the nicest guy around... And Gupta was fairly gullible. But one never really knew what was on the boy's mind.

Finally he sighed and gave the teen a tired grin, claiming those lips once more. They were salty from tears. "Does this mean," he murmured between kisses, "that ya have certain feelings for a certain Professor?"

Gupta's brain was, for lack of a better word, turning to mush. The kisses spread a warmth across his body that settled into the pit of his stomach, igniting nerves that he didn't know he had. Knees growing weaker by the second, the boy mewled in enjoyment as their lips met again and again, clearly nothing thinking about how wrong and possibly illegal any of this was. (He was a teenager with hormones, after all.) All Gupta cared right now about was their slow, sensual kisses and the feeling of Sadiq's body against his own. He could not resist the urge to drag his nails gently across the other's collarbone and chest, admiring the professor's strength and his strong build.

Distantly, he registered the sound of Sadiq's voice grumbling against his mouth. The vibration made him smile and he pulled back, licking his now kiss-swollen lips and looking up at his teacher with half-lidded, dark-lashed eyes. "I am not supposed to lie to a teacher," he said with a shy smile. "So I will not lie."

He leaned up and kissed Sadiq sweetly on that strong, stubbly chin. "I like you very much," he whispered, with blunt honesty that was both child-like and mature.

"Hm~" It the mix between a sigh and a gruff chuckle, amused by Gupta's honest reply. The tension had been there all along, and he couldn't deny the feelings when he spent extra time with his student. It seemed the Boggart had at least done something good today, if not in the most unconventional way possible; was all the blood really necessary?

It was still burnt into his skull.

He brought his lips lower, kissing Gupta's neck once before murmuring in a low tone, "Sorry 'bout what ya saw earlier... It wont happen again, Boggart or otherwise. I promise." Sadiq rested his forehead on the other boy's shoulder. He had no intention of breaking said promise.

D: But I love Sadiq's introspection! Gupta's just not good at it. xD bornofisis October 21 2010, 12:34:27 UTC
The boy trembled slightly as lips descended on his neck. It was an intimate gesture that he had never experienced before, and he felt a lovely blush spread across his cheeks. He was not known for blushing (his skin was too dark for a blush to show up well), but apparently Sadiq was capable of all sorts of feats, including making the Egyptian cry.

Gupta gently threaded his hands through Sadiq's hair as the other held him. He felt like the professor was the one that needed to be held now, which was a far cry from what had happened only minutes ago. Nuzzling the side of the man's stubbly face with his own, the gentle Hufflepuff student happily curled his arms around the other's shoulders. It was nice to feel needed, loved and noticed. Those weren't feelings he usually felt from anyone other than his mother.

"It was not... such a bad thing," he murmured. "I am happy now." Pulling his head back to look at the taller man in the eye, he traced the edge of Sadiq's jaw with his fingertips, as if simply admiring the other's bone structure. "Will you... be happy with me?" He realized that this was a simple but very important question to ask, although he hoped that the answer would be only one thing after they had just spent a few minutes making out.

Sadiq smiled against Gupta's dark skin as the teen carefully threaded his fingers in course, black hair. It made him feel warm inside to have someone actually return his affections, to go so far as to practically hold him as he leaned against his students short body. He wasn't necessarily known to be a loyal man, indulging himself with muggle pubs as the school year would end, and take home beautiful women. Oh Hogwarts; it was the bane of his life sometimes. Making him go so long without the touch of another.

... Because Allah help him if he for some reason chooses to go after another teacher.

Sadiq laughed as his cheek was nuzzled, and he placed another sweet kiss on the crook of Gupta's neck, and then another at his collarbone. He was careful not to get ahead of himself, however; the feelings may have been there for a while, but nothing had happened about it until now. Serious relationships were never on Sadiq's agenda, but something told him that he shouldn't fuck this one up. So he brought his head up once again and kissed the teen tenderly, long and sweet, before pulling back again so he could meet the golden iris's.

"I think I'll be plenty happy," he said with a tone that suggested amusement at the question. They'd confessed, hadn't they? Under the oddest circumstances, but it was finally out. "But... Ya can't tell your mom."

Gupta decided very quickly that Sadiq was very good at being distracting, even in the middle of a conversation. Although the boy had settled into the comfortable silence between them, the two lingering, burning hot kisses pressed upon his neck and his collarbone sent shivers down his spine. He was suddenly very much aware of what he hadn't done with anyone else and what Sadiq was very comfortable with doing. It was both a frightening and thrilling thought.

Biting his lip to stifle a rather high-pitched sound from leaving his mouth, the boy was suddenly surprised again when his head was nudged up and a pair of skilled lips descended on his. Oh yes, Sadiq was a very good kisser, too. He delivered the types of kisses that could suck your soul out of your mouth and made your toes curl in your shoes. Gupta's hands immediately fisted in Sadiq's sweater and held on tight, even when their lips parted and he was left swaying on his feet, stunned and flushed.

Eventually, his wits returned to him and he nodded, swallowing the sudden wave of Bad Feelings that surged up at the mention of his mother. He loved her dearly, but there were so many reasons why she would not approve of this relationship; heck, her own stance with Sadiq has always been 'I'll let you live... for now. Douche.' "I-I know," the boy whispered, leaning forward so he could nuzzle Sadiq's collarbone in return. "I'll be careful."

He looked up, his golden eyes suddenly very serious. "You be careful, too. I don't want you to get in trouble." Not with the headmaster, and CERTAINLY not with other faculty members like his mother or, possibly worst, Francis.

He could feel a certain tension in the air brew at the mention of Gupta's mother. A beautiful woman with a tongue that dripped snake venom whenever Sadiq was in the vicinity, and it had long become clear that his suggestions as faculty were almost always shot down out of spite. He didn't know why she hated him like she did... But it was clear that the size of her breasts did not make up in charm, and the man was far beyond the point of caring anymore about it. Or at least, that was how he had felt before kissing Gupta.

The situation was quite different now, and more than anything, Sadiq would like to just let her remain ignorant so he could keep from castration for another day. With a soft smile, rare for even him, the older man mused Gupta's short, black hair and kissed his forehead. So many kisses today. He could do it all day (and all night) if he could. "Ya don't gotta worry about me." A small pause. "We just need to keep this between us; not let people get suspicious. It could work out as long as we're careful."

He sighed and looked towards the door. He didn't want to, but... "Speaking of keeping our cover... Should ya head back to your dorm? Before people start wondering where ya are."

Sadiq didn't exactly come off as someone that was capable of whispering sweet nothings, but Gupta almost expected to hear some when the man leaned in to kiss his forehead in a sweet, surprisingly paternal gesture. The Egyptian blinked his eyes up at the older man and studied him with grave seriousness, as if expecting to find a lie behind those words. When he sensed that the professor was truly being sincere and serious about 'working it out' between them, the boy broke out into a rare, spontaneous smile that made his entire face light up.

"I do not have to," he murmured, reaching up and tugging at Sadiq's tie. He stepped backwards toward the teacher's desk and pulled gently. "You are supposed to 'tutor' me." Continuously stepping backwards and leading Sadiq like a master might with a puppy, the boy lidded his eyes in a surprisingly shameless, 'come hither' sort of look. "Teach me?" he whispered as the back of his thighs hit the teacher's table. He shifted his weight and sat on it, relishing that the position made him an inch or two taller so that he wasn't so short when compared to the older man.

Sadiq was fully expecting the boy to nod solemnly and kiss him goodbye, leaving a departure between them that spoke, 'Until next time.' He always thought of Gupta as a rather modest student, hiding under layers of clothing and keeping a passive composure. Denying attachments, if not just too innocent to understand what they meant. It seemed, however, as Gupta wrapped his fingers around his tie and pulled him forward, that perhaps he had been assuming wrong this entire time, and Sadiq could only follow the boy's lead in curious bafflement. The tips of his ears hinted a blush.

When they eventually stopped, it didn't take long to register just how Gupta had pulled himself onto his desk, those golden eyes half-lidded in a way that was almost sultry. A hint behind those words. Sadiq knew what Gupta meant, and it wasn't hard to fall into the trap, not when the teen was pulling him in and whispering in his ear. His words as sweet as sugar. "Tutor you, eh? In what exactly?"

He knew very well what the boy was suggesting, but he couldn't help but tease back, his own hands finding their way down to Gupta's hips as he smirked. Of course he wouldn't mind teaching his student a few things, and that much was obvious he made himself cozy between the younger male's slim thighs. It was impossible to resist. Carefully, he descended on those lips once again, the kiss simple but teasing, and pressed their foreheads together. One hand reached into his pocket for his wand, halfheartedly locking the door behind them. "My student couldn't possibly be suggesting something other than Dark Arts homework."
