Having taken to sitting in the Liberty University theater, Alfred would actually be found there quite often. It was large, stuffily-warm, usually brightly lit and with just a little music, he felt very safe. Sometimes the drama kids or glee club would come in to use the space and Alfred gladly would move to the seats and watch them, occasionally offering help but mostly keeping to himself.

Today there was nothing scheduled and he took up a large part of the stage. Blinking at the voice, he looked up, smiling at the girl, sliding his headphones off, closing his reading packet, replacing the cap on his highlighter, slowly standing up.

Meeting her at the edge of the stage, he grinned, putting a finger to his lips. "It's our little secret," he said, laughing, "I hide here all the time, makes me feel safe." And Ivan never guesses where I am.

"You ass," Lucy teased, plopping her books down onto the rim of the stage and lifting up her hands for Alfred. "I'll keep it a secret if I can still come visit you! I haven't seen you since I got out of the hospital!"

She grabbed towards Alfred's hands impatiently, pouting up at him and huffing. "I missed you."

Taking her hands and gently lifting her up onto the stage, Alfred stepped back to his own work, cleaning up slightly, putting papers away and into his bag. “Promise to keep it a secret,” he said pulling the bag over his arm, poking her nose, “Or else I’ll tell Dewi about the rooting I did.”

His smile was teasing as he straightened. “What are you doing here anyway? It’s so late…”

Lucy stared and huffed slightly, brushing her dress down more and shaking her head. "I'm insulted you'd even think that Alfred! Really... and for God's sake please don't tell Dewi! Things are just going good!"

Pursing her lips, she shook her head and watched Alfred quietly. "So are you just leaving? You don't have to go- We could do our work here together?"

"Alright, alright, I won't tell Dewi." Alfred said, shaking his head and putting a hand on his hip, "You guys are adorable together, I totally approve as long as you don't come over and have really loud sex, then I'd be a little bit pissed."

Glancing around the stage, Alfred nodded. "If you want, I'm doing Spanish homework, it's kind of lame... Did you come here to practice or something?"

The young woman stared up at Alfred for a good long while before shaking her head very quickly, practically knocking herself off balance and clenching her fists tightly at her sides. "N-No! W-We aren't going to do that!" she hissed out, huffing and throwing her bag down towards a corner of the stage.

"A-and I came here to do my own homework... thank you," she mumbled angrily. "But... I don't know if I can even focus like this. My brain's all... mumbled. Jumbled- muddled- I don't even know!"

Still grinning a little, but letting the subject drop, Alfred stretched tiredly, blinking at her. "Homework seems kinda lame right now..." he mused, frowning for a moment, "We should do something fun, we both deserve a little break with all that's been going on."

This may or may not have been Alfred's plan all along. Dewi's whispered conversations about a production had really gotten to him. He wanted to give it a shot, he had the acting part down so why not try the musical bit? And who better than one of Dewi's favourite students?

"You wanna sing for a bit? I can set up the sound and everything."

"Singing?" Lucy perked up at the mention of one of her favourite hobbies and nodded to her friend, smiling slightly again but feeling a little hesitant. She loved to sing, it was definately a passion of her's but she'd never sung in front of Alfred before- Would their voices match? Had she even heard him sing?

She fidgeted with her dress a bit before nodding again in resolution, humming to herself. "Yeah! We could definately give it a shot-! What do you wanna sing?"

Quirking his head, Alfred looked at her. He was used to rocking out to random country and whatever popped up on the radio. What the hell would this girl and him have in common? She liked musicals... She was always glee with Dewi. Well that was definitely a starting point, he knew the songs from there; vaguely at least.

He perked up. "Y'all ever heard 'Lady is a Tramp'?" He couldn't exactly get the dance down exactly, but Puck was a badass and he liked the fedora.
