Who: Yao and Kim When: Tuesday October 5th, afternoon. Where: Kim and Remy's house. What: The little Asian got sick, the big Asian came to fix it with FOOD.
It didn't take long for the base of the soup to cook. Yao stole another worried glance at Kim as he poured the cream into the pot, mindful of the amount going in, and every sniff and cough Kim made.
If she followed the regimen Yao's formulating in his head right this moment, he's positive she will be better in no less than a week. Now...
Kim was spared from the impending rant and lecture about keeping complete cooking utensils had she said "No." It wasn't easy to live without all the right tools for the job. And from the look on her face, she must not be having an easy time trying stay up.
"Here. One chicken soup for one sick girl. Make sure you eat everything, aru."
When he finished cooking and presenting the dish, he did not notice as he was now holding to dishwashing soap and a scrubber, cleaning what he used to cook with.
"Yeah yeah." she sneezed into her sleeve again and took the spoon, eating the soup. It was so yummy, and Kim realized now he much she'd missed Yao's cooking.
One moment he was rinsing the dishes, the next he was helping Kim with eating the soup. It may hurt her ego (by how much Yao does not know) having Yao hover over her and fan the steam away from the bowl, but the Chinese deemed it necessary to baby the girl. Just this once, because she is ill.
"Anytime. There's more in the pot so, eat up. Make sure your boyfriend takes care of you after I leave..."
"Sure you don't." Yao countered as he patted Kim's back. He's surprised how responsive the girl was to that statement. "I don't see how this is not a perfect setting for your 'date'. Aaah, just be careful around him or her, okay?"
Look at him go, giving advice just like a concerned brother.
"S-sorry. I was just assuming! And I didn't expect you to catch that." Quick! Dismiss any glares from the girl before the food cools and before she kicks you out of the house without any proper medication Yao! Hurry!
"Now finish up, getting you to lie down is the next important thing." Yao leaned on the girl (not too forcefully), ushering her to continue eating.
"And break my back? No thank you." He took the empty bowl off the counter and to the sink; feeling pleased, accomplished, and content with what he did for the past hour. Now if only he was paid for this...
Yao gave Kim some space for her to stand up(yes, the up was necessary at times like these) and to move to the stairs in one solid motion. "But I can still make sure you don't fall the stairs and ruin any date you have."
"..." There was no point in arguing with him anyway. "I'll manage. Thanks for the food." She said, giving him a little smile as she shoved every sarcastic comment she could think of to the very back of her mind. It was nice of him to come and help like this.
If only it had been with less nagging. Yao was really like an overprotective big brother or grandma.
"Good night." she said, heading upstairs to her room. When she curled up and Toro joined her, she realized just how tired she was, falling asleep right away.

"Do you keep a wok here?"

Well at least it wasn't one of those snot filled sneezes. She hated those. So disgusting...

"...You're not gonna carry me to bed, are you?" she muttered, almost suspecting he would do just that.
