IT'S A TEA DATE. NOT A DATE DATE.

Oct 02, 2010 12:58

Who: Elizaveta and Roderich.
When: October 2nd, Saturday, afternoon.
Where: Roderich's house.
What: To thank Elizaveta for her diligent hard work, Roderich invites her over for tea. The ulterior motive is to find out if she knows anything about those inappropriate photographs of his.

It might have struck anyone else as odd that the young master invited his housemaid to a tea time that was prepared by the maid herself. One would think that the young master would have done some work, perhaps to boil the tea himself. Instead, he sat sipping from his cup of coffee while his maid hurried out from the kitchen with a tray of girl scout ladyfingers.

He thanked the maid when the pastry was laid out on the table. It was such a lovely day in the garden that the young master might have forgotten why they were out here in the first place. After dabbing his lips with a napkin (imported from France), the young master remembered the purpose of today's meeting.

"Thank you for your hard work lately," he said, putting on a ghost of a smile, "you have been very helpful to me. Honestly, I would be in deep water if you weren't here to help out."

He lifted his cup in a toast to his maid. The other reason why he had invited her out today.

"How are you enjoying working here? Learned anything new? Seen any interesting characters coming by recently?"
