Who ya calling a grump? B| turkishsurprise October 15 2010, 04:45:03 UTC
Tch. Powder up. He was sure it was some kind of obscure girl-lingo for changing one's tampon. Sadiq scowled at Liz and yanked his arm away just as she had let go, her frown turning into one sugary-sweet smile to Gupta, just before turning on her heels and moving through the crowd. He kept his eyes trained on the spot where she had disappeared from, festering a certain dislike for the stupid woman. Firstly, was she insinuating that he was being a bad host towards Gupta?; Or did it mean that Gupta couldn't take care of himself? Either way, it was sure to be insulting to both of them... Though it didn't cross him that his friend might not have an ego that rivaled Mt. Everest, which one could describe as Sadiq's.

Something tore his attention away rather abruptly, and jolting his gaze back to the unwanted contact, he was rather alarmed to see Gupta pulling at his arm. Seriously, what is one supposed to make of this? Words were being said, but the boy's voice was too soft to be heard over the obnoxious music. The only points of note was the small smile and the way those hips had begun to sway once again, leaving Sadiq blushing and adverting his eyes as if desperate for a distraction.

"Gupta, seriously, c'mon!" S-Stop! Was Gupta seriously this oblivious to what was weird and what was socially acceptable? Quickly he lowered his hands to the boy's hips, in some inventive way of getting his friend to stop dancing.

Finally escaping to go hide in the bathroom, Elizaveta frowned at her self in the mirror. She fluffed her hair and inspected her neck, for reasons even she couldn't understand. Was there something different about her today? Did she look super-waitressy today or was it just that her coworkers were totally unaware of her schedule? She sighed, washing her hands in the sink.

Once she left the bathroom, she made sure to keep in the throng of dancers, lest someone put yet another tray of drinks in her hands. Looking around, she tried to catch where her friends were, and when she finally did, she almost keeled over in shock. They were... dancing? Somehow? Even though it probably was some kind of misunderstanding, Elizaveta's eyes gleamed as she saw Sadiq's flustered face. Opting to stay with the dancers, she kept to the back of the crowd and watched the two like a hawk, smirking.

So. The beast had finally fallen.

Totally oblivious to Sadiq's discomfort, Gupta continued to dance some more, obviously thinking that the man needed more persuasion to join in. Feeling more comfortable now that he had gotten into the mood and the music, he began to add a little bit of belly dancing to it. Nothing big, just a very noticeable 'shimmy' that was about twice as fast as the deep bass beat of the music.

Just as one or two passerbyers were noticing the boy's interesting dance moves, Sadiq's hands suddenly clamped down on Gupta's hips and startled the poor kid. He looked up with wide eyes, confused as to why the Turk was bright red up to his ears and why he STILL didn't seem to be dancing. Sending a quick glance around but not seeing Liz anywhere nearby to help, the Egyptian happened to notice that some couples were dancing arm in arm or hip on hip. Did... Sadiq need that sort of encouragement?

His brow furrowing in concentration, the short boy turned his attention back to his 'escort' and reached out to snag the other's hips as well. He tried to use his arms to guide the other into a sway, while his own hips easily shook off the other's hands. "DANCE!" he said, louder this time, and with a bigger smile.

Surely Sadiq wasn't SHY?

Where did Gupta learn to move his hips like that? Why does Gupta know how to move his hips like that? He'd danced with women before in similar settings, bodies pressed loosely against one-another in the hot air of the club, but not once had anyone moved their body in such a way that made the hairs on the back of his neck prickle. It was... sexy and incredibly awkward all at once, and frankly he wasn't sure if he wanted to force Gupta to stop or not.

Two warm hands pressed against his own hips suddenly, and it was at that moment when he wished he just had a lovely bottle of whiskey in his hand to make the weird feelings go away. Spit-take, accept his unfortunate fate, and drown himself in alcohol. Yes. However, his hands were empty of everything minus some thin, swaying hips, and once again he found himself lacking the proper beverage to make the world better again.

Gupta's order was heard over the deafening music this time, but in no way did it give Sadiq the incentive to start moving. Not even with the shorter male trying to guide him into a slow sway. He was sure his cheeks were glowing at this point, and the Turk grit his teeth tight to keep himself from saying anything rude or derogatory about Gupta or the setting in general; he was known to let things slip when he didn't mean to. Force of habit.

"Gupta," he said slowly, growing more and more impatient. Was the other really so thick-headed? But if the boy wanted to dance... Surely there was a lesson to learn here. The older man suddenly moved his hands down to Gupta's lower back, pressing their bodies together firmly as one hand rested just at the hem of his trousers. His words came out cross but uncomfortable, as if through grit teeth. "Ya shouldn't come across as so eager to dance. Guys will take advantage or that, being as small and helpless as you are... I'm not really a nice person either, y'know."

Sadiq had totally zoned out, which confused Gupta; was that a good or a bad thing? Hips still swaying in a strange, isolated motion, the boy was about to reach up and poke the Turk's face when suddenly, strong hands pressed against his back and he was forced up against the taller man's body.

A sudden wave of heat shot up his body and to his surprise, Gupta found himself flushing. Arousal was not something that came to him easily, but with the darkness of the club combining with the smell of sweat and musk in the air, it was easy to be suddenly aware of every inch of Sadiq's tall body and his powerful muscles. The boy gulped a little, stilling and pressing his hands against the Turk's chest, half in shock, half just to hold on to something.

Gold eyes full of confusion and a little bit of hurt stared up at Sadiq as the man's words slowly sank into the Egyptian's brain. Gupta was silent for a long time, then gave a shy, tentative smile. He looked down, focusing somewhere on Sadiq's chest instead of on the man's face. It was hard to speak in English let alone even SPEAK when being held like this, but the boy somehow managed. "I understand." He fidgeted a little. "But I trust you."
