WHO: Gupta, Elizaveta, Sadiq, (and maybe Alfred?)
WHEN: Saturday, September 18th, Evening
WHERE: Outside of Gupta's house
WHAT: Gupta wants to go out more. He does this by going with the wrong people to the wrong place at the wrong time.
(
Oh, Gupta. You should really get some normal friends. )
As soon as the cab pulled up to the condo, Sadiq gave the driver a tip and asked him to wait. It was a rare occasion for him to bother with his clothing choices, changing from his usual shorts and t-shirt to something a little less casual. As he stepped out of the cab and fixed his scarf, he remembered why he found dressing up to be a pain. It was such a fussy ordeal; making sure his shirt was ironed, and jacket free of lint. He didn't think he was overdressed for a night at the club, but Sadiq wouldn't particularly care either way. At least he didn't force himself into wearing a tie.
The heels of his flat shoes clicked against a brick sidewalk as he made his way into the building. It was so much larger than the apartment he resided in himself, and the Vicky's walls also appeared clean and free of suspicious markings. The carpet was vacuumed. There was even the faint smell of chlorine, probably from an indoor pool somewhere in the vicinity (and if that was the case, he would definitely be visiting Gupta more often). As Sadiq climbed the stairs, he couldn't help but wonder vaguely if he was given the right address.
It was only two flights of stairs before Sadiq found the room number he had been looking for, and after a moment's hesitation, the man rapped his knuckles gruffly against the wood. It was too late to back out of a trip to the gay bar at this point, and he didn't want to hurt anyone's feelings for not showing up. More precisely, he didn't want to hurt Gupta's feelings -- he cared less about Elizaveta's.
And so he waited outside the door, putting one hand in the pocket of his black trousers while the other reached up to make sure his hat was secure. His nice fez. He couldn't have a finished look without that and his white mask.
((ooc: I was more or less imagining the suit Sadiq's wearing in this link.))

However, all good things had to come to an end. And she knew this was that moment when she heard the faint knocking. She tried not to visibly deflate. "Well... I guess we can't all get what we want, hm?" She smiled to Gupta and walked out of the room and towards the front door. Without bothering to ask if it was okay to open it, she unlocked the various locks and opened it just enough to peer out. She gaped.
"Sadiq? What the hell are you wearing?" It killed her to admit it, but she grudgingly looked him up and down and said, "You look... good."
(ooc: Posting order = Gupta, Sadiq, Elizaveta?)

Peeking over Liz's shoulder, Gupta lit up at the sight of Sadiq. He had gotten all dressed-up too, and looked incredibly different from the casual mess that he normally was. "Welcome," he greeted politely, confused by Liz's question and sudden compliment. "You look very handsome," he added, meaning it.
Pulling the door open to let the other man in, the Arab clasped the other's hand and stood on tip-toe to kiss the other's cheeks gently. The traditional greeting was more formal than normal, but then again, Gupta was usually painfully shy and polite around strangers.

The reply was for both of the staring individuals, smirking specifically at the Hungarian, before he arrogantly stepped into the flat. Someone here had one inflated ego, and it certainly wasn't Gupta or Elizaveta. Unfortunately, as he turned around and opened his mouth to properly greet his escort, he was surprised to see himself presented with a different sort of appreciation. That is, a chaste kiss on the cheek, lips just barely brushing over his skin -- and nothing could help his reddening face now.
"S-Save that for guys at the bar! I'm not into that gay stuff, man." It didn't really strike him that this was some sort of greeting, considering most Europeans did that whole kissing thing. He's been living in America for way too long, and people just didn't do that here. Sadiq stepped backwards anyway, successfully bumping into a thin table and knocking over the potted plant that had been neatly placed on top. He was beyond flustered. "Shit!"
So much for being charming and suave. "Can we just get going?"

About to turn and walk back, she froze in her tracks as Gupta grabbed onto Sadiq's face. Her hands found themselves locked together in front of her chest. This. This was just the best. Oh my god. She had to force herself not to burst out into laughter as Sadiq reddened like a tomato. "G-Gupta?" She started, not hiding the amusement in his voice. "Is that how you greet people in Egypt?"
Laughing at Sadiq, she gave him a little smirk. "For someone who's not into 'that gay stuff' you sure seem excited about going to Chueca, Turk." She winked. "Just to warn you though... Gupta never greeted me with a kiss."
Grabbing her bag and slinging it over her shoulder, she smiled at Gupta. "Whenever you're ready."

He picked up his bag as well, but he had an injured air around him rather like a kicked puppy. He went to follow Liz, but turned to Sadiq again and bowed his head. "I will not do it again," he promised quietly.

An eyebrow twitched at Gupta's quiet apology, and without turning to look at him, Sadiq muttered a quick, "S'fine. Don't worry 'bout it." If his words came out as curt or angry, it wasn't intentional. Still looking very much unhappy, he motioned to the door, "Let's just go already."
((ooc: Was going to timetravel to the bar, but didn't know if anyone else had input to add first xD;))

Whirling around (and hitting Sadiq in the neck with her hair), she opened the door wider and marched out down the steps. Standing in front of the house, she put her hands on her hips. "I know that men simply can't show their 'weaknesses' against women, so I'll be right here. Now you apologize to Gupta, y'hear? Look at the poor boy. he looks devastated!" Her shoes click-clacked as she turned around. "We're not leaving until you do it, Sadiq."
"And don't shy away from it, Gupta. You deserve it." She added, predicting what the Egyptian boy would say.

Fighting the urge to look for a fast escape, the boy forced himself to stand still and bit his lower cheek, waiting.

His cheeks were feeling warm again, and he curiously glanced over to Gupta to see that even his new Egyptian friend had turned quiet. He looked so... awkward. Stupid Veta had made the whole situation worse. Fucking women and their need to make the world rainbows and butterflies; this was why cat fights always ended so much more nasty than anything a guy could get into.
With one final scowl in Lizzy's direction, Sadiq turned back to Gupta. Clearly the older man wasn't comfortable, but he hid it behind a rather passive wall. The only hint was possibly the way that he was suddenly fiddling with the cuffs of his jacket. "Sorry."
It was unbearably awkward.

"Well, we might as well get going then, shall we? Do we need to get a cab, or do you have a ride?" She asked Sadiq, feeling better all of a sudden. Yes, clubbing made everything better. Even spending time with bitter Turkish men. She looked at her watch. And they were just in time, too.
"Come on, Gupta, let's go experience something new!" She beckoned, totally ignoring the other man.

Suddenly feeling very entertained about the whole situation, the Egyptian turned and followed Liz obediently. Her excitement was contagious, and he found his own nerves buzzing with anticipation as they headed down the stairs and outside to...
The taxi?
Gupta blinked at it. I didn't call a taxi. "Liz?" He looked at her, then slowly turned back to Sadiq. He suddenly felt somewhat embarassed, like he had been a bad host. "S-Sadiq?"

The taxi was still parked patiently outside as they reached the front steps, and Sadiq clicked his tongue in vague satisfaction. At least some people around here didn't take him lightly. As Gupta muttered his name quietly, he couldn't help but grin, "Eh, I had to have gotten here somehow, and I sure as hell ain't driving."
He made his way past both Lizzy and Gupta, and gingerly opened the door for them both. Complete with a suave smile and a hand beckoning them inside, he filled the roll as an escort quite well, if only as a playful act. "Ladies first." By that he meant Gupta. Lizzy still wasn't a lady to Sadiq.

Sliding into the cab, Elizaveta gently tugged on Gupta's sleeve for him to follow. There was no way in hell was she sitting next to Sadiq, and besides, she still needed to bond more with Gupta. Once the door was shut closed, she craned her neck to peer at the drivers name tag and credentials. "Jimmy, right? Bring us to Chueca, please." The driver tipped his hat and started to drive, leaving Elizaveta with nothing to do but sit still and smile.
"Are you excited?" She asked Gupta.

The Chueca (did that word stand for something?) didn't take that long of a drive, not that Gupta and Elizaveta didn't keep themselves occupied with small chat in the backseat anyway. Sadiq hardly paid them any attention, choosing instead to listen to the dull pop music playing on the radio and the hum of voices behind him. He had actually leaned his head back against the headrest and allowed his eyes to fall shut.
... To the point that he had dozed off into a light sleep by the time they pulled up to the club.
