Lili looked up to the red-haired girl in confusion. The girl looked very nice but, Lili had no clue as to what she was talking about. She continued scratching the kitten's ear while she asked, "Pardon me? Libterty?...Gay?...I dun understand..." She recollected some of the memories of her big brother talking about the so called 'gay' people of Liberty. She was also told to stay away from them. Lili was told to stay away from everybody though. "I'm not gay, no. There are a few people that live here that might be, if that is what you are asking." Lili smiled politely and pondered what this girl could possibly be talking about.

Erin threw her hands out in front of her, not exactly sure what to say or do. "Ah! Sorry! I didnt mean to say that! Ah..."
Its a girl... It sounds and is actually a little girl... Alright... "Never mind. Um," Her eyes drifted down to Ash who was quite content in the girl's lap. "That isn't your cat, is it...?"

Ash meowed at Erin when she said her name, answering the girl's own question. "So you like cats...?"

Lili interrupted the scratching to lift her hand and feel the right side of her head. Her eyes widened when she felt no silky ribbon. In the mess of unpacking it seems she had forgotten to put it on before going out. Hand still attached the side of her head, Lili let out a nervous laugh. "Oh...um yes! This must be your kitty? She's very cute and quite..erm..social!"

Erin was confused when the girl didnt reply at all, instead searched for something near her head. "Ah, yeah, i guess she is!" She laughed with her. Oh god, this day... Erin sat down infront of the girl and reached over to stroke Ash's back.
Ash looked back with something that could be assumed was a smile in a cat's world.
Erin replied to it, though this time keeping her mouth firmly shut, Yeah yeah... Keep smiling... I'm going to buy you a leash!

The hand that was attached to Lili's head went suddenly forward towards the girl in an attempted handshake. "I'm Lili by the way...nice to meet you. And your kitty as well!" Lili admired the girl's long, red hair. There's no way anyone would mistake her for a boy.

Erin smiled, and took the girls small hand into her own. "Call me Erin. And this little bag of trouble is Aisling." She poked the kittens side, who in turn tried batting the finger with a soft paw.
"I've never seen you before, did you just move here or visiting?"

Lili smiled at Erin's playfulness with her kitty, as she sat comfortably against the tree. "I have lived here most of my life, but I did leave to visit my family recently. Hmmm..", Lili looked up in thought. "Oh!",she looked back at Erin,"Do you know Vash Zwingli? He is my brother..er..adopted brother, or rather, I'm his adopted sister." Lili proclaimed, proud that she could get the words out successfully.

Erin laughed at the girl's trouble with words. She covered her mouth as she couldnt stop laughing. "You're so cute!" was all she was able to say.
After a moment she composed herself and replied, "I'm sorry, no i haven't. Though if you showed me a picture of him, i'd probably know his face...When did you live here last?"

Lili was a bit surprised by the compliment but simply nodded and laughed in thanks. "I..um, think I left here about a month ago, and I just got back a few days ago. So, I dun believe I was gone too long...How long have you been here?", Lili inquired while reaching into a small covert pocket in her dress, pulling out a coin purse and digging inside it. She recovered a small picture of her brother, not looking too particularly happy, but Lili loved it none the less. "This is my bruder by the way!", She put the photo of the boy in the palm of her hand and lent it towards Erin.

"No... I dont know him. Actually, i dont really know that many people. I'm usually busy with work or school, FU- I mean, Falmouth University... Its been like this since begining of June, about the time i arrived here."

At this time, Ash, feeling as though she wasnt the center of attention anymore, stood up on Lili's lap and tried climbing up the girl's body to reach her shoulder.

"Oh my, you are quite funny little Ash." Lili laughed as she lowered her shoulder, making a sort of step ladder for the small paws. She took the picture of her brother and put in lovingly back into the coin purse.

"What brought you to Liberty if you don't know many people then?" Lili had no idea how she would survive here without at least having her brother.

Erin sat quietly for a moment, trying to remember those reasons herself. "Well, me and my brother had been living here in the states off and on for some time. And before i came back, i had left for a few months. So for him, i guess?"
Those words sounded odd. Especially after the events of last month, and just recently at the wedding.

Ash climbed up without problem, thanks to the makeshift step ladder. It was still small enough to sit more or less comfortably on her shoulder. It mewed into Lili's ear, then nuzzled it's head up against the girl's cheek.

"Ahhh...so cute!", the little girl pet the kitten as she couldn't resist it's adorable charm. "Oh! So you have a big brother too! You must love him very much! Is he awesome?" Lili paused for a moment. She loved talking about her big brother and thought maybe Erin did too. At least she hoped.

Erin chuckled at the question. Her brother? Awesome...? How to describe such a guy to a total stranger...? Ah well. Best to let him ruin his image than let herself do it.
"He has his moments. So yeah," She blushed and looked away. "He can be awesome. But when he's not, i still love him." Somehow.
Of course Erin would meet a little girl who dotes her own big brother, especially after everything... Somebody up in heaven must think this is funny...
She looked back up into Lili's sparkling eyes. So cute... "What about your brother?"

With the kitten still on board, Lili rested herself against the tree with a shy smile spreading across her face. She even felt her face begin to redden.
"I love him...he's been so good to me ever since my parents let me live with him. He's a good brother."
Talking about Vash was a soft spot for Lili and anyone could tell. Everything about her became softer than she already was when speaking about the boy.
"I'm glad you have an awesome brother too..."

Erin caught on, feeling a little awkward. She caught the sudden change in mood. It was no longer light, proud, and happy... It felt very different, especially with that look in Lili's eyes Is she in love with her own- But her thoughts were interrupted when she said "my parents" instead of "our". Ah, not related... I see...

Erin smiled and her eyes drifted to the grass as her own mind wandered to the past. No where or of anything in particular. Just glazing through a few memories between the twins.
But when Erin felt that same smiled that Lili had try to creep up onto her own face, she came back to the present. Shit...The soft and kind atmosphere Lili had created when speaking of her own "brother" seemed too dangerous for Erin to stay in. Feeling suddenly awkward, she pulled out her cell from her dress's pocket and glanced at the time. She had nowhere to be, but ( ... )
