Unpacking was beginning to be quite boring. Lili only had so much patience for taking things out of one place and putting them into another. A glance outside gave her an idea. The weather looked wonderful, and everyone outside was laughing, so she decided to take a walk.
Classes were starting for Lili tomorrow, so what a better way to spend the last day of summer than a peaceful walk around the nearby park. The grass still had some leftover morning dew and looked so inviting. Lili found a place to sit in a small clearing with a large shadowing tree. She sat beneath the tree's protective branches and felt herself being surrounded by the sounds of nature. All of a sudden, though, a different sound arose from amidst everything. A rapid ringing, from what sounded like a small bell, was becoming louder and louder. Lili searched the area around her when she spotted a small grey kitten. "Oh! Hello there, kitty!" Lili yelled out the small creature. It might be the cutest kitten she had ever seen, and it's cuteness was only enhanced by the playful nature in which it appeared. Where did it come from though? Maybe it had run away...
The kitten paused when it heard Lili call to it, but that just caused it to start up again and dashed right to her. Though it hadn't slowed its pace, and ended up knocking into Lili with a squeak. It sat up and shook it's head, then looked up at Lili with its huge green eyes, "Mew~"
Erin was some ways away behind it, but lost track of Ash when she had ran through a few bushes that were a little to tall and thick to run through herself. "Ah! Ash! What are you doing?" She asked her little kitten as it tried to crawl onto the girl's lap.
"Oh my!" Lili laughed as the ball of grey fur tumbled into her. Her green eyes met the kitten's as it unleashed the smallest little meow. The small cat had climbed into Lili's lap when she heard someone yelling. "Ash? Is that your name? Ash?" she spoke to the kitty while scratching behind it's ear. "Maybe that's your owner!" Lili looked up towards where the kitten had come from and searched for a owner to the calling.
The kitten purred, tilting the itchy side of its head that need attention towards Lili's hand. As for it's owner's voice, it's ears only twitched at the sound. When Lili had repeated the kitten's name, it blinked at her. Waiting for something.
Erin finally caught up to the cat, swearing every curse she knew under her breath in Gaelic. "Aisling! What the hell were you thinking?" She demanded. But the cat in question only looked over with a cute meow, as if all was forgiven as long it was cute. Saddly it was, dammit. Erin groaned, throwing a hand over her face in shame and embarrassment. "I'm sorry kid-" She cut herself off as she finally looked down at the person in front of her. Its a...Its a boy... Ridiculously cute little boy... Wearing a dress... "Did the liberty suddenly become gay overnight...?" Erin asked, words falling out her mouth. Aw shit! I actually said that!!! SHIT!!!
